Madden Cover????

The Madden cover comes out tomorrow. Who do you think will be on the cover?

Star-divide

My prediction is Purple Jesus, since EA sports seems to go with younger players. Since 2001, the cover athletes have been Eddie Geoge, Daunte Culpepper, Marshall Faulk, Dog Killer, Ray Lewis, Donovan McNabb, newly released Shaun Alexander, and Vince Young. L.T declined last year. Athletes who have been on the cover seem to be cursed the season after appearing on the cover. Players who have appeared on the cover since 1999 have generally failed to reproduce their success of the previous years, for a variety of reasons. Marshall Faulk, Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Donovan McNabb, and Shaun Alexander all have suffered significant playing injuries in the season that they appeared on the cover. These performances and injuries resulted in speculation of a curse. The "Madden Curse" has evolved into a much-reported phenomenon, with several news and sports media outlets referring to it as a phenomenon on par with the fabled Sports Illustrated cover jinx. Also, where can you get custom Chief covers? I would make one, but dont know how.

It was announced on NFL Network last night.

They were saying that is why he is retiring, I can’t believe he hasn’t graced the cover before, with Madden’s enourmous man-crush on Favre.

yep

i’m just wondering what picture they will use. i saw some really gay picture of him in a leather jacket pointing at the camera with a sort of “Fonzy-esque” look. i hope it’s not that.

madden 09 will probably be like tecmo bowl for the NES, in that favre will be like bo jackson… unstoppable.

have you seen my baseball?
