Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft -- Pick #57 by the Miami Dolphins

And with the 57th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Arkansas State SS Marcellous Tyrell Johnson

Draft Profile

Lanier63 with the pick:

Johnson is an extremely intelligent player who is also strong and thickly built. He is a strictly free safety prospect, with relatively good speed (4.52-40) who is very tough and aggressive. Playing well in zone coverage, he has a smooth backpedal and hip turn and also sports good, not great) hands. He comes quickly to support the run and is a reliable tackle who wraps up well. He does not get caught looking into the offensive backfield on play actions and he is very confident, but is not a gambler; he is a definite team player.

Thanks for the good write up

By this point in the draft I’m admittedly just guessing…

I had my first two picks

down for the Vikings, but in the third and later rounds, I have resorted to the almighty google, and kind of merged the opinions of some mock drafters who actually give a shit about the Adrian Peterson and the Horn-ed Purple Knobgobblers (what a great band name!)

If your referring to my writeup of Marcellous

I cannot take credit for it. I got the info from:

http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?Prospect_ID=1409

I just went through Miami’s needs and selected whom I thought was next best at the position. Kinda what I have done with all three picks.

I am interested to see how the actual draft plays out according to this Mock.
