Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft -- Pick #47 by the Minnesota Vikings

And with the 47th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select:

Kansas OT Anthony Collins

Draft Profile

PVChiefsfan with the pick:

I considered going with Early Doucet to give Jackson another weapon (oh but don’t forget, the Vikings have the "amazing" Bernard Berrian now) or perhaps Fred Davis to both improve their receiving at the TE position and to block for Peterson, but when it comes down to the wire, Minnesota needs the best OT left on the board, and I don’t think mid-2nd round is too much of a reach for Collins. Ryan Cook was better last season at RT, but much like our Chiefs, the right side of the Vikings line was sometimes as strong as wet tissue paper. Additionally, Bryant McKinnie was arrested in February, so his availability may become a concern; and has never done really well against speed rushers. Collins can compete for and likely win the starting job at RT and could eventually move over to replace Bryant on the left side if McKinnie ends up visiting the slammer.

ah, good one you guys
just because he played for the hawks doesn't mean he's going to fall this far.  and keep on clinging to that win at arrowhead.  i know it allows you to sleep at night, silencing the words "orange bowl champions" and "basketball national champions"  from your heads

It's not because he played for the Jayhawks
it's because there are 5 or 6 tackles who are better than him.  Mid second round for a relatively unproven offensive lineman is not that bad.  I wouldn't even consider it as "falling"
