A flip of the coin...

The teams will meet at the combine this weekend and will hold the official coin flips which will determine our draft order 3-5.

As I remember, we can do no better than 4, but because of salary issues and desired player (Long) we're holding out for #5.

I can't seem to find the specifics of the flip- rules, order, why #5 is best.  Any comments clarifying would be welcomed.

The flip order goes like this
Atlanta and Oakland will flip for the #3 pick. If Atlanta wins, then Oakland gets the #4 pick because they win a tie breaker with us. So no matter what, the Raiders pick before us.

If Oakland wins, then we flip with Atlanta to see who gets the #4 pick. The Chiefs getting the #5 pick is the most likely because Atlanta would have to lose two straight flips to have it work out like that.

They flip the coin at 7:30 am tomorrow.

statistically speaking however...
it really isnt that unlikely. We have a 0.25 chance on the fourth pick, which really isnt all that bad. People get excited over those 100 dollar lotteries because the odds are so good at 1/20 are winners. 1/4 is pretty good, i should think.
