(maybe in a comment over at arrowhead addict) I read that a mock draft now has the Rams taking Clady as the first OL in the draft...let's all keep our fingers crossed about that one.  I am sure Clady is a great player, but if the Rams draft a guy from the WAC with the number 2 overall pick, they might need to have their heads examined.  How many right DE's and pass-rushing LB's that Clady blocked are going to be playing in the NFL?  Compare that to Long, who gave up one sack all season to a pass-rusher that could go in the top 10 in this draft.  To me, it's almost a no-brainer.

"I'll admit that I hold. I get my hands inside and hide that I'm holding."  The hiding part is what makes him a great tackle...every official knows that nearly every play has a holding penalty occurring by one of the o-linemen; they only call the blatant ones (though sometimes they even forgive those, and of course to us, doesn't it always seem like it's the guy blocking* Jared Allen?)
