Dolphins Cut Trent Green

From the diaries. --Chris

Finally.  The Miami Dolphins have cut Trent Green.

This is good.  His career should be over.  I've always liked Trent and didn't want him to end up like one of those guys that can't walk or see straight anymore.

Also cut was Marty Booker who was the Dolphins' #1 receiver last year.  This makes Ted Ginn the #1.

Anyone have any interest in Marty Booker?

He is
a big wide receiver isn't he? Never know might wind up here. Do the tackles they cut have any potential?

Shelton and Booker
Shelton's cap hit was a little over 3 million this year.

Booker hasn't had impressive stats since '01 and '02.  And he is not a big receiver.  Only 6" 212 lbs.

Hmmm...
Toldeo was a rookie they were very high on coming into the season. Very high on. He might be worth a shot. And why not give Booker a shot, too? I think he could be a good No. 3 WR for us. Possession type. He has been miscast as a No. 2 or even 1 for too long.
