Even though he can’t beat Clady, no one else in the NFL can
by Vince D on Dec 7, 2008 5:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yea, he's not bad
He is really out of shape though, when he came out of draft he was lean and stacked. He looks like he was at the bar when he got the call to be the chiefs starting D-end. or maybe the tat parlor…lol

and it usually leads to a TD

The most frustrating thing...
…is the defense is worse than ever. Worse than it was under Vermeil. It’s unwatchable.
Even at 17-7 I knew the Chiefs would not win this game.
by DonnyDonovan on Dec 7, 2008 5:39 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Under Vermeil we gave up big plays because we were old and dumb
now we give up big plays because we’re young and inexperienced
I’ll take the latter over the former every time

the AFC west rivlary is going to be Chiefs/Donkeys again, just like the good old days…Denver has a legit offense.

but with ANY kind of defense we would have won this game

I really do. But the defense. Just wow.

Especially LB
need a couple bodies there. we get that, I could live with one solid DL. But we gotta scrap the Cover-none. Let Gun design a D…

We played competitive, simple as that, can't expect to win much right now
by Shawn on Dec 7, 2008 6:03 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
DJ experiment didn't look too great
He seemed to avoid lots of block instead of standing up OL in the hole….think he is a better OLB, off the edge rusher too…

Thigpen
Too reliant on TG today, needed to spread the ball out more. Especially in red zone. He could be a good QB just needs some more tools and an OL. Not to mention a defense to stop the other team.
