The Chiefs have declared WR Mark Bradley out of Sunday’s game in Denver against Broncos.
Speaking after Friday moring’s 90-minute practice, Herm Edwards said the team is hoping the rest will give Bradley’s injured calf an opportunity to heal. He’s been dealing with the injury for about two weeks now and has limited his practice and playing time.
Also declared out of the trip to Denver were LB Donnie Edwards (knee) and CB Pat Surtain (quad).
Listed as questionable are LB Pat Thomas (hamstring) and G Adrian Jones (ankle). It’s unlikely either one will play against the Broncos.

Cool
Champ Bailey is out for the Broncos, I like our chances much better with him sidelined…

Holy Crap
who in the world are they going to have cover Gonzalez?
If they go with the usual and put their best corner on Tony (in this case Bly), then Bowe will have the nickelback on him.

I don't know,
it always seems like the Chiefs find a way to beat Champ. I don’t know what it is particularly, but I have seen it happen multiple times – most notably with Eddie Kennison.

Hopefully this is why he has been less productive the last two games…

I'm pretty sure that is the case
Bradley was inactive against Buffalo and though he started against Oakland, I don’t think he played long since Darling was on the field.

The Thing with Champ...
Is that because he is so good, it allows the D Coordinator to call much more exotic plays than you normally could with a regular to even above-average corner. However, it usually results in him being beat a few times a game because instead of spending 50% of the time in man coverage, he probably spends about 70%, which is a lot to ask of someone, even Champ.
Personally, the most annoying thing about playing Champ is that he is always making tackles that most corners have no business making, resulting in me throwing my remote. That is the essence of 24, in my opinion (besides Jack Bauer, of course).
