2009: A year to be excited about
I'm pumped up about 2009 and I think many of you feel the same way, although I'm not exactly sure why. Pessimistic, optimistic, cynical, frustrated; you're all Chiefs fans and you're all passionate about the team and I hope you all stay that way even if we don't get the GM, HC, or new players we want. I guess the best thing for a fan of a losing team is a site like this. We can all share in our frustrations of the past and hopefullness for the future. I really enjoyed sharing my thoughts with you guys this year and look forward to another exciting year.
Thanks everyone!

with all the players that gained experience this year
i am definately excited for next year. and with 8 games of losing by under 7pts. if we can find a way to win we should be in good shape (also depending on free agency and the draft)
I agree with that dude!
I always wanted to type that.
We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.
"But what do I know, I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
Yeah
I’m really expecting a much better season next year. I really wasn’t expecting much at all before this season so I think that is why I’m much more patient. Next year, however, I expect a good improvement, 7-9 win range and that is even with our tough schedule on paper.

I get excited every year because the Chiefs are my team.
Heres to 09 being better than 08
Indecision is the key to flexibility

Are you talking about my team?

schedule shouldnt matter since
we creamed an undefeated broncos team that everybody thought was going to destroy everybody at the time. it just goes to show you what inconsistancy can do for a team.
Appreciate the positivism ChiefsDude
I think you are right in saying that we are all expecting more out of the future. Lot’s of things to be excited about, and new people that will bring new skills to the organization. Good times.
