The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club has agreed to terms with four Reserve/Future Free Agents. The list of players who agreed to terms of two-year contracts includes: G Brian De La Puente, G Edwin Harrison, DT T.J. Jackson and RB Dantrell Savage. As per club policy, no further terms of the agreements were announced.

Signing Savage

means needing one less RB, right? Looks like Lurry might get his wish after all.

Savage did lead the team in avg. KR yards… he looks like he could be a solid 3rd stringer at least.

I liked TJ Jackson in the preseason – haven’t heard much since.

I don’t know much about DLP (except that I believe the Spanish translation for his name is “Of The Bridge”) or Edwin “George” Harrison.

Why this regiment keep signing players..

if they are not sure they will be here next week. Should you guys wait and see what the new regiment want, for the rebuilding?

I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(21 years and counting)

Future reserve definition
Players signed to "reserve/future" contracts means they are being signed for the 2009 season even though that season does not officially begin until March. Only players who were not on any NFL team’s active roster when the 2008 season ended are eligible for such signings; if they were under contract, then they would remain so until March. Players who were on practice squads at the end of the season are eligible to sign with any team.

By the way

These contracts in no way guarantee a roster spot. Take a look at who we signed in February last year to future/reserve contracts and you’ll see that they’ll likely not be here come August.

Meanwhile

Gunther and Krumrie were leaving KCI for a Carribean destination celebrating their new contract extensions! Two days so far…How much longer Clark? Cut the dead weight now and find us a legit DC, Linebacker and Line coach, please.

We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.
