Around SBN: Knicks 90, Raptors 87: "Shump and Lin wouldn't let us lose."

"The question now," said Edwards, "is how will he continue to play and do we want to change the offense? I have to talk to (offensive coordinator) Chan Gailey, but right now I'm thinking we would."

Good thing I read that

I was getting ready to harp on Harm for wanting the r2-p2 back!

At least 10-6 next year taking our division, or Herm goes.

Good article

“We changed everything to build the offense around him. It’s like we’re operating with a three-page notebook, adding a little with each week. Now the question is: Do we stay with this? Because it means you would have to do some things differently, like look at a little different offensive linemen.”

I thought it was a really good article as well

Yeah, that quote is huge. Hey, we wanted to change all of our offensive linemen even before Thigpen was playing.

Mankind from Tech

Would fit in good in this scheme!

At least 10-6 next year taking our division, or Herm goes.

Kudos To Herm

For seriously looking at scrapping loser ball next season.

The Chiefs should win 5 to 6 games this year and no less than 4 for this season to be considered progress in any way. If he can't win at least 9 games next season, Herm's a joke.

Are you OK?:)

I Give Credit Where Credit Is Due

But don’t worry…I still think Herm’s a terrible coach. :)

If I've said it once

I’ve said it a million times. Our biggest offseason acquistion was Gailey. If it weren’t for him our offense could have been just as horrid as last seasons. Herm’s lucky he had Chan when this all blew up in his face………..

Oh, he's OK

Notice how he still took a swipe at Herm calling his offense “loser ball”. Don’t worry, my friend, he’s OK.

Just wondering

thought I was going to have to go see if the sky was falling!:) Now about the cover 2…

At least 10-6 next year taking our division, or Herm goes.

I'm Even Going To Let Herm Off The Hook For The Cover 2 (But Only A Little)

By saying that the reason I think Gunther’s struggling in the Cover 2 is that he isn’t a very good defensive coordinator, period, and that any capable coordinator should be able to run the Cover 2 without producing the worst defense in the NFL.

That said, I think that the Cover 2 is a pretty stupid defense to run if we don’t have the personnel to execute it.

The Chiefs should win 5 to 6 games this year and no less than 4 for this season to be considered progress in any way. If he can't win at least 9 games next season, Herm's a joke.

reminds me of "We were Marshall"

“Were scrapping the Veer”

"But what do I know, I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"

+10000

When deep space exploration ramps up, it'll be the corporations that name everything, the IBM Stellar Sphere, the Microsoft Galaxy, Planet Starbucks.

I'd be fine with 9-7 or 10-6 and competiting for the divsion title

i started

reading some of the comments on that article, just let me realize how many uneducated football fans there are ( in terms of football knowledge) Everyone clearly sticks to ESPN and mainstream media for info………
just a thought…..someone asked who was the last team to run a spread offense and be productive…..if Im not mistaken didnt Tom Brady and the Pats run alot of a spread/ no huddle offense with 4 sometimes 5 WR
