Weston Dacus has given no reason to be included in the team’s future…not one
Never giving up on your team is what makes you a good fan.

I disagree Part 2
Dacus has showed some promise in his limited playing time. I believe it was the first game against the Broncos at Arrowhead this year he made a devastating hit to their tailback and stuffed him at the line of scrimmage. He’s just as good as any UDFA we have and in some cases better than some we’ve drafted (Jeff Webb). I liked him and Walden as projects LB’s but my heart’s not broken if they’re not on the team (only Wes is now). But considering all the other project players we have on Herm’s roster I don’t see how he’s singled out for being one of the worst.
On a related note, project nickleback Maurice Leggett’s presence has been missed these last few weeks and its a shame they moved him to IR. I liked watching guys like him develop but several have been falling to injuries. I hope Maurice is a lock on next years team and for the record I think Chris is wrong about being this years Tyrone Brackenridge. I think he’s better
Happy Holidays Y’all

I disagree
Dacus may not be ready for Primetime yet, but he has as much potential as many on the active roster. He was the lone guy to be signed after our “Open” tryouts in the spring, which is a very cool underdog story, and I remember a story in the preseason about Dacus. Tony G was talking to Vermeil and they were both impressed that he could turn his hips and drop into coverage like a corner. Something that is coveted in a cover 2 linebacker. He can add to the special teams play for now, and someday he may contribute in the linebacking corps. I wouldn’t write him off yet.
