I hope this means we will see the other “major” Coastal Carolina product play for the Bengals, WR Jerome Simpson. Drafted in the second round, he’s played very little for the Bengals, mostly being inactive then getting hurt when he finally did get to play. The Bengals seem to like him but also seem to think he’s not ready for the NFL yet. Why did you draft him in the second round then?
It was just be great to see the two Chanticleers on the field together, getting some playing time, because it could be the last time for Thigpen as a starter and who knows about Simpson?
