Totally Defeated

I know this isn't totally Chiefs related (it would be if we would have lost to Denver and Oakland), but what is with all the Detroit Lion sympathy.  Sure, I feel sorry for the community, especially because Detriot is going through a very tough time.  And I imagine that it sucks to be a fan right now.  However, I do not feel sorry for the players.  They are professional athletes who get paid win, lose, or draw.  I know that in high school and even in the some colleges, teams go totally defeated all the time.  I feel sorry for those teams.  Those kids are not getting paid to play.  They play because they love the game or because their parents make them.  I have been on some real sucky teams in my life (probably something to do with me) and it isn't fun.  But I will never feel sorry for somebody making at least a couple hundred thousand dollars a year, especially not in this economy.

I apologize in advance for this non related Chief's post and I promise my next one will be much better.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Nope its cool

I don’t really feel bad for Detroit. They never were good. This is more of the same.

+1

We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.

I agree...

Too much “woe is me” out of both Philly and Detroit. Pistons won a title, Tigers made the Series. Sixers and Eagles made the championship games (I’m ignoring the Phillies because much of the pissing and moaning came before that). Get off yourself, save KU, this town hasn’t won diddly in decades.

Detroit Red Wings are ALWAYS good

Can’t say the same about my team, St. Louis Blues….

HOCKEY????

Ha.. ha… ha.

We may be "playing to win the game", but it seems like we're coaching to lose.

'09, a new era begins.
For the land of the free and the home of the CHIEFS!
