play calls
play calls put tyler into that predicament. we went away from running the ball too much in the 2nd half. on the 2nd int he through, that whole drive i dont think we ran the ball once. that shows the difference in play calling.

play calls
or the fact that the opposing defensive coordinator adapts to thigpen’s game and abilities, and is able to get his defense to shut him down for the entire second half. every second half. i think we tend to grow more conservative in the 2nd half, but when we finally do get desperate and start throwing it again, the throws are often times forced into double coverage and/or wildly inaccurate. at least he’s made the second half of this season pretty entertaining to watch (as we are at the very least competing in these games, or the first halves).

true
defenses adjust, but offensively chiefs adjust as well, and it’s not working. i say leave it alone, u have to admit though. on the 2nd int today, that drive we had all of 1 running play. thats pitiful. we were successful with run and pass combination’s thats why we were able to put 28 pts. not just passing. as much as i like thigpen, i dont think he’s good enough yet to be throwing the ball 40+ times a game, unless its screen passes to charles or johnson. other then that it better be a run.
