We start with the ball
need some Offense, now!

i agree
Proud Supporter of Tyler Thigpen.
We've been delivering though.
We may be "playing to win the game", but it seems like we're coaching to lose.
'09, a new era begins.
For the land of the free and the home of the CHIEFS!
Done that in the 1st half
of the last few games.
Time to prove we can move the ball in the 2nd.
a 4 point lead ain’t enough to sit on.

In case you missed it..
Mitch just mentioned the 2nd coldest thing again.
"You play to win the game." Herm Edwards
Why is it
I never see Herm doing anything? He’s never talking to anyone, never looking at charts, he’s just staring out at the field.
Hey, look, LJ ran hard when he had no one in front of him and blockers down field. Congratulations.

He’s been pass-blocking, stopped with the celebrations, now a good catch – only one of those really fluffs his numbers…

I'm kind of bummed
at how quiet Arrowhead is. Even with the weather and the fact that, you know, we suck, should be better than that.

Bowe's first step

That play was a great example
of what Tyler brings. ON the backside blitz, Brodie would have tried to run away from him to the other side and gotten nailed. Huard would have ducked down and tried not to get hurt (and gotten hurt).
Tyler immediately looked to his man and made the throw. I love Bones.

yup
we got points, even though it was 3, 3 is better then 0 or a turn over.

And marched the ball
not just a quick strike. We had problems with that in the 3rd.

Who is this team dressed as the KC offense?
We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.

the culmination of a lot of work
the more Gailey gets involved and Tyler gets into the system, the better they look. Now the run and pass games are coming together. I was down on Gailey’s hire at the start of the season, but he’s done a bangup job this year with all the injuries and that terrible offensive line that’s suddenly only “not completely terrible.”

Proud Supporter of Tyler Thigpen.
Holy shit
that shutdown on second down was Dorsey. He absolutely stuffed that against two guys.
Dorsey is playing better and better, to go along with some great stats. That was a great play. If he can just get some pressure on the QB…

DJ and Demorrio
are actually playing really well. Doing what LBs should do. TACKLE. They’re creating space and outrunning our secondary but we’re not whiffing on tackles at least.

We may as well get a 1st rounder for him. This draft is going to be really deep. This way we can get another top talent and build for the future. Everyone over 28 should be traded or let go.

i wish we would have handed it off to johnson a little more in this second half. he was having a good day
I dont know what to say except
Herm Edwards simply doesn’t know how to coach 60 minutes of football. He always says that we need to play 60 full minutes, but how many games this year and last year combined did we lose in the 4th quarter? Over half of our losses. Even if we can pull this out, this is a problem we have to deal with.

Herm has a real knack for going for it when he shouldn’t and not going for it when he should. Whichever way he chooses, it’s usually going to be wrong.
Way to burn the TO before the play, too, that wouldn’t be helpful later.

That, and give him a better line, maybe another WR, and a better scheme next season.
Me, I say the QB position is his to lose next season. If a QB falls to us early, is BPA, and we can’t get a good trade-down, then we take him. Otherwise not – stretching for a QB while we have other pressing needs will be a /bad/ idea.
