Done that in the 1st half

of the last few games.

Time to prove we can move the ball in the 2nd.

a 4 point lead ain’t enough to sit on.

nope

and apparently 10pts and 1:15 left isnt either.

In case you missed it..

"You play to win the game." Herm Edwards

by AirSpencer on Dec 21, 2008 2:02 PM CST up reply actions

Why is it

I never see Herm doing anything? He’s never talking to anyone, never looking at charts, he’s just staring out at the field.

Hey, look, LJ ran hard when he had no one in front of him and blockers down field. Congratulations.

RB's just don't have much trade value.

Especially backs with contracts like Larry’s.

That play was a great example

of what Tyler brings. ON the backside blitz, Brodie would have tried to run away from him to the other side and gotten nailed. Huard would have ducked down and tried not to get hurt (and gotten hurt).

Tyler immediately looked to his man and made the throw. I love Bones.

the culmination of a lot of work

the more Gailey gets involved and Tyler gets into the system, the better they look. Now the run and pass games are coming together. I was down on Gailey’s hire at the start of the season, but he’s done a bangup job this year with all the injuries and that terrible offensive line that’s suddenly only “not completely terrible.”

I dont know what to say except

Herm Edwards simply doesn’t know how to coach 60 minutes of football. He always says that we need to play 60 full minutes, but how many games this year and last year combined did we lose in the 4th quarter? Over half of our losses. Even if we can pull this out, this is a problem we have to deal with.

Haha, OKC has only a 25% chance of having more wins than KC!

God Freaking Damnit

Rams lost by one point… we haven’t secured the #2 pick yet. Cinci won though.

Thigpen

had terrible decision making near the end of that game.

I don't think you can blame him that much

he shouldn’t have been put in the situation.

He threw for 320 yds and 2 TDs don’t forget

Blame my wife!

I agree

But that wasnt his fault. I blame the play calling. Because for the most part he did excellent today.

We may be "playing to win the game", but it seems like we're coaching to lose.

growing pains

That, and give him a better line, maybe another WR, and a better scheme next season.

Me, I say the QB position is his to lose next season. If a QB falls to us early, is BPA, and we can’t get a good trade-down, then we take him. Otherwise not – stretching for a QB while we have other pressing needs will be a /bad/ idea.
