Thigpen has shown the amazing capability to move the ball down the field. Yes, he started slow, and in the MIA game he tossed some picks. However, he can scramble out of the pocket. There has been talk to go after McNabb in the offseason. I think we would have to pay too much for him--I think we should go after Suggs or Peppers in the offseason for the money. Thigpen can also take a hit unlike the other QB's. If you take out the first 2 games where Thigpen was completely overwhelmed, since Gailey brought the spread--he's #2 in the NFL behind Brees (I'll work the numbers if someone is itching for them). Our defense, however, continues to have zero pressure and pathetic tackling. We need more playmakers there---but get some proven ones in FA. Our drafting of D players isn't so hot (other than the D backs).
