Hello everyone. I just want to start my second post ever by saying, Thank you Mr.Peterson and everything that you did for us in the past. I'm  just a regular guy that has a lot of opinions like everyone else here,so with that being said I'm not one to put a lot of numbers and stats on my post. (well just because I'm still a rookie at this) So here we go.

I've been excited as much as all of you to know that the front office is going to have an overhaul, from a new GM to a new CEO, either way you look at this is all in favor of the chiefs organization. Now there's talk about a new head coach and even bringing in a new QB. I could understand (somewhat) of getting rid of Herm, but what about Thigpen? Look ever since he took over as the chiefs starting QB the chiefs have been playing alot better and have shown the promise of what the future might hold. So while everyone is thinking about Cassel or anyone else for that matter why would we overlooked Thigpen.

Thigpen entered the 2008 Kansas City Chiefs season as the third-string quarterback, but emerged as the starter following season-ending injuries to Brodie Croyle and Damon Huard. The Chiefs subsequently altered their offensive gameplan to a spread offense to help Thigpen and the rest of the young Chiefs team to play to the best of their abilities. He has been better than expected and has perform like a veteran at times making the right calls. So my question is why should we give up on Thigpen when he has done alot better than Croley. Remember how much time the chiefs have given Croley the chance to perform and yet he's choke everytime. Thigpen only little over half a season and has put up numbers alot better than Brodie. Why should he get the shaft when in reality he could be our next Franchise Quarterback.
