After this game, we need a new tradition
teams give out game balls all the time. We need to award the Game 2×4.

BUFFALO = EPIC FAIL
Trying to run out the clock, up 27-24, the Bills took a sack, fumbled, and it was scooped up by a Jets defender and run in for a TD. The Jets are going to win.
Nice extension, Dick Jauron.

Seriously, what is wrong with out Special Teamers?
Why do they keep gathering around a ball and letting it roll 2 yards toward our endzone? I know it doesn’t matter much, but someone tell them to down it when there is even a hint at it going the other direction.
I know it is nit picking, but w/e.

I am going to say this.
This is the fucking fault of the playcalling.
We got so God damned conservative in the second half, did we even throw it once? I’m sure we did, but it didn’t feel like it.
We were content with giving it to Charles who got pushed around all day three times in a row.

Our O didn’t score a /single/ point in the second half.
Barth Vader’s blame in this one is miniscule
by Bleedingredandgold on Dec 14, 2008 3:39 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
BLAME GAME:
1) Chan-Herm, and the most conservative play calling I’ve ever seen in a half.
2) Pat Surtain. Yes, a useful INT, but his broken legs hurt us all game. Even on his return he was running like a gimp.
3) Thiggy: What the FUCK was that last drive? Running the ball and killing 20 seconds, throwing it over the middle? What the FUCK?!
4) Jamal Charles: Terrible today. Couldn’t get 1 YARD on MULTIPLE occasions.
Props to the D-Line for getting pressure and getting sacks, but this is the worst feeling I’ve ever had after a Chiefs non-playoff game.
Now I know how Cleveland felt years ago when we beat them after that assclown took his helmet off.

Bones is young
He’ll learn, as he’s been doing all along.
I’ll say it again, though: You play to win the game. You win the game by scoring more points than the other guy.
We didn’t score a single point in the second half. Even a FG, and we’da won it.

by Pauli on Dec 14, 2008 3:41 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Might put it on Bowe, though
yeah, helmet to his hand, but he’s gotta /know/ that the game rides on it
by Bleedingredandgold on Dec 14, 2008 3:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Multiple Problems
Thigpen is what he is and that is not a starting NFL QB.Mediocre QB’s stay mediocre. And if they don’t trade Tony G he’ll never lean to read a defense. Bowe needs to see if they will allow gobs to stickum again, he has no hands. This is a bad football team. Horribly put together and unfixable by just the draft.
