While no player was declared out of the game against the Chargers, C Rudy Niswanger and CB Maurice Leggett will not play. Niswanger with a knee injury and Leggett with a shoulder problem; neither one practiced on Friday.
That opens the door for veteran CB Pat Surtain to get back on the field. Surtain last played on October 26th against the New York Jets when he suffered a quadriceps injury. In 13 games, Surtain has played in just five this season. On Friday, he was a full participant in practice, the first time he’s been listed as such since the injury.

Surtain
actually played well before he got hurt. I remember people being impressed with his play, despite his age and recent doubt in his ability.

I am really looking forward to Sun
I can’t wait to see how the defense comes together Sun, with most of our original starters. The O should be clicking as well. This Sun will be a great measuring stick for the elusive progress and an indicator of the final two weeks W/L potential.
Bradley back….thank the Lord!

Praying for some sacks
mostly because I want to see Dorsey pancake Rivers…
maybe DJ or someone blindside him and cause snot-rockets to fly from his nose.
Then we can watch him pout on the sidelines… maybe stomp on a downed player… but generally act childish.

Hopefully he's really healthy
And won’t just be playing half speed. For a guy that is becoming a playmaker because of his speed, that doesn’t do anyone much good.

Anyone smell smoke?
Nevermind just Surtain getting torched by Jackson.
At least 10-6 next year taking our division, or Herm goes.
