If we only win one more game this season....
who would you want the chiefs to beat. I'd say I hope the chiefs pick up their second win either this week at the chargers, or when they play the broncos again.
I'm not saying chiefs won't win more than just 1 more game. but if they only do win one more-who do you want to see go down. I particularly am taking joy out of watching the chargers season go up in flames. tomlinson is a good guy...but I can't stand philip rivers.
Chiefs 31, Chargers 21. thats how i'm calling it (or thats what i'm hoping for at least)

Chargers.
A good friend of mine is a huge chargers fan, so naturally I hate them the most. So, hopefully the chiefs beat them both times :)

Win over the Chargers: fun
Loss to the Raiders 2008 meltdown team: devastating.
I think I’d choose not losing to the Raiders.

Good call
I absolutely can not stand Philip Rivers either. He seems whiny, childish and annoying. AND, to add insult to injury, he’s frickin’ top rated passer in the league!

I cannot get the site of him chastising Cutler from the sidelines
out of my mind from last year, I think.

Agreed - Rivers = Grade A Douche-Nozzle
I also remember him stomping on a downed player at the end of his second season, I believe it was in the KC game. He stomped the leg of a guy that was laying on the ground after he threw an INT or something. It didn’t get as much coverage as Haynesworth because he didn’t stomp some dude’s helmetless melon.
He’s got to be my least favorite QB in the game, by a great distance. He is the leading cause in me disliking the Chargers. Merriman was a close second, especially with that retardulous dance he does. I used to hate Raiders first, Broncs second, Chargers third… but Captain Douche (Rivers) and Lord of the Seizure-Dance (Merriman) there has vaulted San Diego to the #1 spot on that list.
I guess my answer is San Diego. But I really want us to beat the Raiders… I’m conflicted.

Name of the dance has to stick!

“retardulous” is the funniest thing I have heard in a while =)

I've never been able to bring myself...
to dislike San Diego. Their fans aren’t a bunch of jackasses, they’re rather apathetic. They showed some love for Marty. Kick ass unis. They are grossly under rated in Super Tecmo Bowl. Fish tacos are boss. San Diego is so much more fun than LA. Just a hard team to dislike.
The Donkeys on the other hand…

And Except For Merriman...
I can’t really think of a Chargers star player I’ve really disliked. Rodney Harrison, I suppose, but I think his dirty player label is a bit overstated. Most of the rest of them I’ve respected. Dan Fouts was an outstanding QB. Kellen Winslow, Lance Alworth, LaDainian Tomlinson, Antonio Gates, Stan Humphries, Junior Seau…all outstanding players and I can’t say as I ever developed any strong negative feelings towards any of them.
In Denver there’s Romanowski, Vance Johnson, Travis Henry, Dennis Smith, and of course Elway (although that was more because he was just soo good…I’d have been ecstatic if he was playing for us). And the Raiders had plenty of players that I hated (at times almost the entire roster). So I can’t say that the San Diego Chargers really hold any strong feelings for me and I’m probably more disposed to want to beat the Raiders or Broncos than them.

Righty-O
I used to have a lot of respect for San Diego – it’s their current roster that has vaulted them into my toilet. Mostly it’s just Rivers and Merriman that ruin them for me. So it’s a “what have you done to me lately” thing.

LT is a whiner too
“they celebrated on our field after beation our a$$” Boo Hoo
Having been to many Chargers games in SD I can say that the fans ARE a bunch of douche bags jus like Rivers and Merriman, especially in the last 2-3 years. It was so great when KC whooped tham at home last year and the huge parade of chargers fans that runs down every street on game nights was non-existant. Please beat the Chargers at SD.

Rivers
Rivers is definitely a world-class douche. But then with San Diego struggling this year like they are it’s still tough for me to really care much about them…or the rest of the AFC West for that matter. In a non-competitive division I’d still say that if we only won one more game I’d prefer it was against the Raiders or Broncos, simply because I hate those teams more and like their fans less than the Chargers.
After all, it wasn’t a Chargers fan doing the stabbing in Chris’ clip. :)

i’m glad to know that my resentment for rivers is shared. yeah..I can’t get that image of him mocking cutler on the sidelines last year and then I think he also started to harass fans if I remember correctly.
i don’t like the guy one bit.

We just need to get a Chiefs QB a ring
before Rivers, that way our guy will always have the last laugh.

I don’t think we have much to worry about. :)

Too Hard to Choose
I can’t choose the game I want to win the most, because I detest the Raiders and Broncos equally, while a loss to the Bengals would be heartbreaking.
So, the two games that I would least feel bad losing, would be to the Bills and Saints. It’s just too bad that they are back to back. I expect to split with the Chargers. Otherwise, I’m looking to smash the enemy!

Bengals
Losing to them would be a bad blow to my optimism for next season. Kind of like losing to the Jets last year.

Chargers or Broncos
Both of there quarterbacks have cocky heads, love to see their post season dreams shattered with a blow from the Red. Wouldn’t it be sweet if it came down to a win for either of them to make it post season and we(the chiefs) werethe ones they play. I have a feeling we will win 1 or 2 more…….probably bengals and I’m hoping the broncos. Never liked them and never will.

I'm conflicted
I will have to admit that I have a small Cutler bias. I’ve been in Nashville since ’01 and my wife is a Vandy alum. So as bad as they are, I always pull for Vandy to at least not totally suck. The Cutler years here were ok, and he had one outstanding season as far as Vandy seasons go. So I have a soft black & gold spot for him still.
In any case, I actually disagree with you on one point. I don’t think Cutler is that cocky. He always seems really relaxed and laid back… to the point where he almost looks stoned in some interviews. At least if you put him on a scale that measured cockiness with Rivers, that shit would sink like a rock to Rivers’ side.

Raiders
If we got swept by them this year it would be ridiculous, Raiders fans would not stop talking trash and they already talk to much, Raiders fo sho

Broncos will beat us in their house but i think we can take the raiders in theirs and I think the bengals may pose more of a challenge than you guys think, but if we can get the raiders and bengals i would be a little more satisfied
