Why do these guys hang around the nightclubs?

Sources: Burress wounded in accidental shooting

New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress suffered an accidental gunshot wound Friday night in a club, according to multiple sources.

Fox Sports.com and the New York Daily News reported that Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg and spent the night in the hospital.

Details of the incident weren't immediately available, but according to a source the wound was not considered life-threatening.

Herm said it best his first year here, I think. Nothing good happens after midnight at these places.

It was a mistake

resigning Plaxico. The Giants have enough talent in their receiving corps they can do without him and his salary. It was a PR move in resigning him coming off their win in the Super Bowl. If he would have held out at the start of the season it would have came down on Coughlin. Perhaps Giants fans just needed to see his act one more season before they’re ready to cut ties with him…

You can say what you want about LJ, but I could never see him do anything as dumb as this in a club. We should be thankful all we have to deal with his inferiority complex and not some Adam Jones bullshit

Well

According to Keyshawn Johnson, over half of NFL players are packin’ heat.

After what happened to Sean Casey

and Darrent Williams, I can’t blame them. There was a great feature article in ESPN the Magazine about just this a couple weeks ago.
