Hey, I dont know if you guys ever check any of the jobs available within the NFL but there is one that may be of interest to some that frequent this blog. The Chiefs are looking for a research intern as part of the rebuilding to help put stuff together for the new stadium. You MUST recieve college credit (they repeat that alot) and it is unpaid. This is an unpaid internship in historical research. The person selected would be assisting the Public Relations Director of the Kansas City Chiefs in the identification and compilation of the team's all-time roster. This intern must have engaged in research projects whether it be student papers or studies of some kind. The intern should demonstrate some proficiency in researching statistics and ability to recognize little known facts about players and team. Knowledge of sports in general and professional football in particular is needed. This position will work closely with the Director in the development of the new Arrowhead Stadium Hall of Honor chronicling the history of the Kansas City Chiefs franchise from its inception in Dallas in 1960 until today.
Final candidates will be selected to participate in an interview process. Finalists will be contacted to schedule an interview. Applications will be kept on file until the start of the internship period.
