Don't Know How Many Gamers Are Here

But if anyone played Grand Theft Auto IV and listened to the Liberty Rock radio station, they play Q Lazzarus’ “Goodbye Horses” as one of their tunes.

That’s the tuck dance song. :)

Terrible

Can J.P. Losman be that worse?

by Joel Thorman on Nov 23, 2008 12:19 PM CST up reply actions

Unfortunately

They apparently don’t need to pass today…Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson will just run up the middle all day or take those short passes for big chunks of yards.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 12:20 PM CST up reply actions

Detroit

We’ve flip-flopped with them. We’re still the worst defense overall, though.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 12:19 PM CST up reply actions

Wow

This is a really shitty defense. The Bills look like they’re getting about 10 yards a carry…gonna be a long day when the D gives up that much yardage.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 12:19 PM CST reply actions

Jesus

That means they’ll be getting 20 yards a carry in the second half. :)

Only If You Have Expectations That They're Going To Win

I’m now operating from the assumption that the Chiefs will lose every game because of their idiot coach.

For my money, it still doesn’t get lower than getting blown out by a horrible Oakland team at home.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 12:22 PM CST up reply actions

I was at that game

And I haven’t been back since despite being offered free tickets today.

by Joel Thorman on Nov 23, 2008 12:24 PM CST up reply actions

Absolutely no excuse for D-Line play that bad.

Why even bother having a D-Line when they can’t get to the QB, and can’t get the RB on the first wave?

Lets just add extra CBs in there. See if Dorsey’s fat ass can play CB or LB, couldn’t be any worse than Boiman.

Banny being Banny.

Dorsey's Okay

The rest of the line is garbage, though. But because he’s a rookie I’ll give him a pass.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 12:22 PM CST up reply actions

I Know I am being an ass about Dorsey...

However, every rookie we have drafted seems to be the same story. Seems like there is always an excuse for even our third year players……….

"No good deed goes unpunished............."

by SFCBurkhart on Nov 23, 2008 12:26 PM CST up reply actions

That's Why

I’ve started ripping on Turk McBride and Tank Tyler. They’ve got some games under their belt so they’re experienced enough to be showing something. In my book, rookies should always get a pass unless they show up dramatically out of shape or with a cancerous attitude.

by Joel Thorman on Nov 23, 2008 12:26 PM CST up reply actions

Way too early to say that IMO

We had a TD on our first drive and a punt on the second. What’s the huge problem with that?

by Chris Thorman on Nov 23, 2008 12:26 PM CST up reply actions

Our defense has the strength of a wet paper bag.

Our offense hasn’t done anything abnormally bad or below expectations, but if our defense doesn’t shock me here and stop the Bills from averaging 7-10 yards per attempt, it will become hard to watch.

Widely regarded as one of the worst defenses in Chiefs history, I just remember them being picked apart throughout the air. Was their run defense ever THIS bad?

by JobDDT on Nov 23, 2008 12:37 PM CST reply actions

My recollection was that the run defense was pretty bad..

Things went downhill when we stopped forcing as many TO, and my guess is the TOs stopped b/c teams started running the ball more?

It would be so huge for our team to get a win today and lose the turnover battle.

We have been losing games despite having the turnover advantage. If they can find a way to win without that advantage, it will really bolster the confidence of the players.

we shouldn't have challenged this

no one touched him when the ball came loose

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:07 PM CST reply actions

I just dont understand

why were not running the ball. LJ is having a field day,.

true

this game means more to the Bills

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:13 PM CST up reply actions

4 fumbles and 2 inteceptions

are we trying to go negative 18 in takeaways in one game?

On Thiggy:

Looks like there’s starting to be enough tape for analysis.

Nice one to TG, though

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 23, 2008 2:15 PM CST reply actions

tg is so good..

it’s unfortunate he has to play for this terrible team

by SFCBurkhart on Nov 23, 2008 2:17 PM CST reply actions

Just thought of something:

Herm deserves his share of the blame, but we are feeling the effects of Dick Vermeil, Peterson and some of the worst drafts in NFL history. Of those drafts during the Vermeil era, I believe we only have about 4 players still on the team.

The best player from those drafts, LJ, was someone who Vermeil pouted about when we got him. So Vermeil deserves a large amount of the blame, along with he and Peterson’s scouting staff.

Still a game here with the way our offense has been playing.

As always, it comes down to our D.

I'm considering pulling a Clark Hunt...

…and watching the MLS Cup. Please don’t take away my fan card but the defense is killing me today.

by Pauli on Nov 23, 2008 2:31 PM CST reply actions

do we still have outside linebackers?

For reference

See Losing the Arrowhead Advantage.

I wasn’t kidding.

by Chris Thorman on Nov 23, 2008 2:36 PM CST up reply actions

And

It’s a blowout loss to a team that’s going to have a tough time getting into the playoffs.

We can’t even make the excuse that we’re getting blown out by a good team at home.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 23, 2008 2:40 PM CST up reply actions

I'm still obsessed, but...

Jacking up ticket prices, and getting rid of season ticket holders who attended every game, win or lose, year after year, has had it’s effect.

Anyon notice that they aren’t doing nearly as many wide-angle shots of the “crowd” for this game?

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 23, 2008 2:49 PM CST up reply actions

TG

He is having a good game

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:37 PM CST reply actions

Trent Edwards will start throwing ints and the Bills will start fumbling and we can pull the biggest come back ever… ;)

Wow...CHECK OUT THE 12th man!!!!!

They started leaving before the end of the 4th…gweeeez. I bet they’re cold and hungry. Let me pull another cold brew out and scratch my nuts watching this fiasco on my new 56’ HDTV (thanks to not buying season tickets). I love you Carl.

has anyone told the secondary that their job is to cover the receivers

and try NOT to let them catch the ball? All I am seeing is they are WAITING for the guy to catch it and then try to tackle him.

let’s just start breaking peoples legs or something

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:53 PM CST reply actions

Holy cow I just figured it out!

Herm is paid by how many points the other team scores. That explains everything.

On a positive note...

Lynch does not have 100 yds of offense. Somebody owes that man a beer.

by KCScuba on Nov 23, 2008 2:54 PM CST reply actions

question

what is the most points scored by an opponent in arrowhead?

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:55 PM CST reply actions

pro or college game?

by Lanier63 on Nov 23, 2008 2:56 PM CST up reply actions

either or

maybe even basketball… the points are getting up there now

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 2:57 PM CST up reply actions

Per Mitch and Len

The most points ever given up by the Chiefs in franchise History is happening right now.

by AirSpencer on Nov 23, 2008 3:03 PM CST up reply actions

turnovers

screwed us in this game. to many fumbles.

by nfamous209 on Nov 23, 2008 2:56 PM CST reply actions

Answer me this honestly............

Do you all think the staff will be retained?? Because I do and I say that because Clark really doesn’t care

"No good deed goes unpunished............."

by SFCBurkhart on Nov 23, 2008 2:57 PM CST reply actions

and again

it is not too late for additional garbage time fantasy points from thigpen.

by KCScuba on Nov 23, 2008 2:58 PM CST reply actions

It's a record

54 points most in franchise history

by ashleylat on Nov 23, 2008 3:03 PM CST reply actions

so...

whole new coaching staff by next game? (except maybe Gailey, he’s done good with what he had to work with)

by Pontiaclvr on Nov 23, 2008 3:05 PM CST reply actions

When you get shots of empty seats

and comments of announcers saying “Wow” you know you have hit a low…and change is severely needed

by RoyalsFanStuckInCardsLand on Nov 23, 2008 3:05 PM CST reply actions

Losing with a young team can be understood

But when you lose and look like you don’t belong on the field. That is hard to explain

Indecision is the key to flexibility

by cmpotter on Nov 23, 2008 3:09 PM CST reply actions

Why?

So we can lose less next time? Yeah, he’s the QB of the future…..where’s The Pickle “Vlasic”?
