Unfortunately
They apparently don’t need to pass today…Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson will just run up the middle all day or take those short passes for big chunks of yards.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
Wow
This is a really shitty defense. The Bills look like they’re getting about 10 yards a carry…gonna be a long day when the D gives up that much yardage.

Only If You Have Expectations That They're Going To Win
I’m now operating from the assumption that the Chiefs will lose every game because of their idiot coach.
For my money, it still doesn’t get lower than getting blown out by a horrible Oakland team at home.

I was at that game

Absolutely no excuse for D-Line play that bad.
Why even bother having a D-Line when they can’t get to the QB, and can’t get the RB on the first wave?
Lets just add extra CBs in there. See if Dorsey’s fat ass can play CB or LB, couldn’t be any worse than Boiman.
Banny being Banny.
Hi.my name is Glen Dorsey...
I am a top five pick, a multi-millioniare………..what does that mean to you fan???? it means that I will just kind of fill a gap here or there, go home and eat a shit-ton of mud-bugs and count my cash………….nice pick Herm.

That's Why
I’ve started ripping on Turk McBride and Tank Tyler. They’ve got some games under their belt so they’re experienced enough to be showing something. In my book, rookies should always get a pass unless they show up dramatically out of shape or with a cancerous attitude.

Our defense has the strength of a wet paper bag.
Our offense hasn’t done anything abnormally bad or below expectations, but if our defense doesn’t shock me here and stop the Bills from averaging 7-10 yards per attempt, it will become hard to watch.

Was the rush defense ever this bad in the 2003/2004?
Widely regarded as one of the worst defenses in Chiefs history, I just remember them being picked apart throughout the air. Was their run defense ever THIS bad?
Banny being Banny.
My recollection was that the run defense was pretty bad..
Things went downhill when we stopped forcing as many TO, and my guess is the TOs stopped b/c teams started running the ball more?
Now if.....
we block the fg run it back. Onside kick then throw a td. We could lose in the final seconds of the game later on.

McBride-0 sacks
Bradley-Not a young Herm pick
Franklin-Non-existent
Charles-two fumbles for points to the opposition

If you're going say fumbles by Jamaal charles
as growing pains, you have to say the same about Thigpen and INTs.
Growing pains, yes.
But to be honest, Bradley didn’t get enough separation for the amount of time he got there.

yeah,
but croyle and huard would have more. and fewer TD’s
Can't get upset about it
Especially since we aren’t really running a lot
Indecision is the key to flexibility
Why challenge here?
So in a best case scenario we hold them for 3 and give up a FG or get it back and punt out of our own enzone burning up another quarter and giving up the score anyway?

Maybe we're following the plan to victory that our opponents have used the 3 of the last 4 weeks
Lose turnover battle horribly and come back at the very end.

Look at all those empty seats.
And I couldn’t find a pair of tickets for less than $30. What a shame.
Banny being Banny.
It would be so huge for our team to get a win today and lose the turnover battle.
We have been losing games despite having the turnover advantage. If they can find a way to win without that advantage, it will really bolster the confidence of the players.
BARTH!!! BARTH!!! BARTH!!!
Yeah, Herm…fuck you for not giving the rookie the job earlier.
The kid’s good…think we’ve solved that kicker problem.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
Meh
I can live with them. I’d rather have a guy who can hit his field goals consistently. Worst case scenario we can find someone out there with a strong leg and zero accuracy to handle kickoffs. Those guys aren’t tough to find at all.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
I'm happy with him
It just tempers my enthusiasm b/c of the short kickoffs
The announcers just raved about Evans' speed on that play, yet didn't notice Carr with him step for step

where would the ball have been placed?

tg is so good..
it’s unfortunate he has to play for this terrible team
Just thought of something:
Herm deserves his share of the blame, but we are feeling the effects of Dick Vermeil, Peterson and some of the worst drafts in NFL history. Of those drafts during the Vermeil era, I believe we only have about 4 players still on the team.
The best player from those drafts, LJ, was someone who Vermeil pouted about when we got him. So Vermeil deserves a large amount of the blame, along with he and Peterson’s scouting staff.

It’s a blowout loss to a team that’s going to have a tough time getting into the playoffs.
We can’t even make the excuse that we’re getting blown out by a good team at home.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
I'm still obsessed, but...
Jacking up ticket prices, and getting rid of season ticket holders who attended every game, win or lose, year after year, has had it’s effect.
Anyon notice that they aren’t doing nearly as many wide-angle shots of the “crowd” for this game?

Sure...why not. Then we could go for a safety later and an onside kick.
Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."
Maybe
Trent Edwards will start throwing ints and the Bills will start fumbling and we can pull the biggest come back ever… ;)
Perhaps Herm was confused about the concept of "Smashmouth Football?"

Wow...CHECK OUT THE 12th man!!!!!
They started leaving before the end of the 4th…gweeeez. I bet they’re cold and hungry. Let me pull another cold brew out and scratch my nuts watching this fiasco on my new 56’ HDTV (thanks to not buying season tickets). I love you Carl.

I have a projector and the block shows up to watch on the side of my house
Not really…no one would be stupid enough to go outside :)
Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."
has anyone told the secondary that their job is to cover the receivers
and try NOT to let them catch the ball? All I am seeing is they are WAITING for the guy to catch it and then try to tackle him.
"But what do I know, I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
I just saw MacIntosh and realized
his ass is as big as The Truths new HDTV. 56 foot!
"But what do I know, I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
how about TO
almost 200 yards recieivng so far. geez
They gonna break 50 or maybe 60?
Anyone…anyone….predictions?
Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."
Holy cow I just figured it out!
Herm is paid by how many points the other team scores. That explains everything.
"But what do I know, I’m like an empty room with a large ECHO"
On a positive note...
Lynch does not have 100 yds of offense. Somebody owes that man a beer.
Per Mitch and Len
The most points ever given up by the Chiefs in franchise History is happening right now.
Y'all watching this on TV are brave souls
At least on the radio feed, I am only witnessing this filtered through Len and Mitch.
Where are you getting the radio stream? I still don't see it up again.

*sigh* NFL Field Pass
I’m paying for this..
Don't worry. I'm paying for NFL Sunday Ticket.

I did that when I lived in TX
That was actually neat. Given that my choice of football in Houston was either the Texans or the Cowboys.
turnovers
screwed us in this game. to many fumbles.
Answer me this honestly............
Do you all think the staff will be retained?? Because I do and I say that because Clark really doesn’t care
"No good deed goes unpunished............."
It depends on if they want to fill the newly renovated stadium in 2010
Indecision is the key to flexibility
and again
it is not too late for additional garbage time fantasy points from thigpen.
I don't know...
Culpepper wanted to go to a winner, though. . .
It's a record
54 points most in franchise history
so...
whole new coaching staff by next game? (except maybe Gailey, he’s done good with what he had to work with)
When you get shots of empty seats
and comments of announcers saying “Wow” you know you have hit a low…and change is severely needed

Losing with a young team can be understood
But when you lose and look like you don’t belong on the field. That is hard to explain
Indecision is the key to flexibility
If anyone starts "Gray over Thigpen" chant I will shoot them.
This is garbage time and the Bills are playing off.
Think we can petition for a mercy extra pick in the draft?

Yeah...with this management
we’d get a kicker.
Bill Parcell’s: "You are what your record says you are."
In a all seriousness. . .
Thanks for the company, folks. Made a horrible game more bearable.
