ESPN - Kansas City Chiefs turn to spread offense
For a 1-9 team, the Kansas City Chiefs sure have found a way to keep things interesting. First, tight end Tony Gonzalez demanded a trade in October. Then running back Larry Johnson fell into so much trouble off the field that he might not even be on the team next season. Now the Chiefs are offering us another compelling story line: They're openly talking about the spread offense possibly being the system they use in years to come.

spread, tight, Power, Trick
Use whatever formations/schemes it takes to win. New England has used a combination of spread and power with good results..

You play to win
Well, we haven’t yet, but I’m glad to see that the Chiefs are at least being creative and attempting whatever it takes to be successful. I have a feeling that there could be more surprises ahead.
Now we just need to prove that it can work!

I'd much rather be a spread team than a "power running team"
Power running teams only work with a good offensive line and a good defense… and we have neither.

If we did run the spread in the future
it would make Graham Harrell an even better option in the draft.
