I’m excited for this game. I want to see Thigpen against a D that knows the spread is coming.

21 pts/game

And our defense has shown it sucks. We’ll see what happens.

Dish Network

Is saying the game isn’t on TV…

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 10:21 AM CST reply actions

Yeah it's working

The guide is saying it’s not being shown…informercials only.

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 10:34 AM CST up reply actions

I get local channels

but it’s saying it’s not on local channels. Probably just a mistake but we’ll see.

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 10:50 AM CST up reply actions

Locally "blacked out"

It’s not a blacked out game, but here in Lincoln, NE, it’s not showing on account of a way more interesting Packers-Titans game.

Basically KS and west side of MO. I’ll be slumming it up at BW3s with ya’ll today.

by DuctTapeMessiah on Nov 2, 2008 12:11 PM CST reply actions

We need LJ

in the power I when he gets back.

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 12:11 PM CST reply actions

Go Thigpen

Thigpen the QB of the future? we’ll see. looking good.. damn video feed doesnt want to work :(

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 12:12 PM CST reply actions

Nice,

Chiefs are definitely good at causing fumbles. One stark positive of this year.

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 12:19 PM CST up reply actions

thigpen

talk about an athlete (we all know dbowe is, gogo thigpen)

by DuctTapeMessiah on Nov 2, 2008 12:13 PM CST reply actions

u guys realize that was our first TD we scored in the first quarter this season.

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 12:15 PM CST reply actions

thigpen, spreading the ball around

he has improved so much since his first start this year

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:19 PM CST reply actions

I Have No Idea Who That Guy Is Wearing Thigpen's Uniform

But I hope we keep him around if he keeps playing like this.

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:24 PM CST reply actions

Yes,

I hope Kolby does good to set a fire under LJ’s butt.

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 12:24 PM CST reply actions

two first quarter touchdowns

after going 12 games without a single one.

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:25 PM CST reply actions

Thiggy's looking pretty good...

He’s made some good decisions, showed some mobility, and pulled the trigger fast in the face of a hot blitz.

Fellow fans, if this continues, could we have a QB on our hands?

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 2, 2008 12:27 PM CST reply actions

it's too early to say

but if he plays the rest of this season at the same level, or at least close to it, i think he’s earned a chance to compete in the offseason for the starting position whether we sign a free agent, draft a QB, or not

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:28 PM CST up reply actions

i agree, however

croyle was a third round draft pick, so of course one would think he would be allowed more time to develop than a 7th rounder nabbed off someones practice squad

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:31 PM CST up reply actions

+1

Thiggy’s been more successful that Croyle ever was – I say give the kid a chance.

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 2, 2008 12:31 PM CST up reply actions

seriously though

lets not forget that he has so far played about 4.75 productive NFL quarters.

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:32 PM CST up reply actions

youre missing the point

i agree that thigpen has played well. but lets not all start jerking him off at once. remember a few games ago?

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 12:37 PM CST up reply actions

Not "jerking him off"

Just saying he deserves at least the same courtesy shown Croyle, especially if he continues to play well.

Pointing to one game where Thigpen played like Croyle did every game doesn’t make him a worse prospect than Croyle, and draft positions be damned.

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 2, 2008 12:47 PM CST up reply actions

Come

on man!!! Enjoy it!!!

by GHOST OF DT on Nov 2, 2008 1:01 PM CST up reply actions

this is herms ideal first quarter

we’ve pretty much held onto the ball the entire time. BALL CONTROL at its finest

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 12:47 PM CST reply actions

HOLY SHIT!!!

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

by UCrawford on Nov 2, 2008 12:50 PM CST reply actions

Herm Edwards

Has finally figured out that his offensive ideas need to change. Outstanding…I was worried for a bit that they were going to sit on this lead.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

Good thing I didn't start

Garcia in fantasy. There was no way I would go against my team!

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 12:59 PM CST reply actions

Maybe it's just me but...

I never really liked either of the Barbers and I’m glad he was the one that blew the coverage on that pass to Thiggy.

by Pauli on Nov 2, 2008 1:02 PM CST reply actions

:(

Kolby was doing pretty good today

by Vince D on Nov 2, 2008 1:02 PM CST reply actions

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 1:05 PM CST reply actions

Let's

go Chiefs. It’s a good time for Thigpen to get a blow!

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 1:06 PM CST reply actions

Radio is saying that

they think Kolby has a sprained knee however out for game. [Fingers crossed]

by ilamuku on Nov 2, 2008 1:07 PM CST reply actions

thigpen hurt?

radio saying thigpen is hurt? got hit at the end of the play?

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 1:08 PM CST reply actions

Got hit

But he’s still in there

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 1:08 PM CST up reply actions

dbowe

did a good job of making sure that didn’t get picked

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 1:09 PM CST reply actions

did bradley throw it?

nfl.com is saying bradley has played quarterback last 3 plays

by thechiefsarrow on Nov 2, 2008 1:11 PM CST reply actions

Charles at QB

reverse to Bradley who threw a 45 yarder to Thigpen.

Yeah, you read that right.

by Joel Thorman on Nov 2, 2008 1:12 PM CST up reply actions

Hell yeah

You know things are going well when Mark Freaking Bradley is roasting dudes.

by Pauli on Nov 2, 2008 1:14 PM CST reply actions

He was a stud at OU

Got hurt in Chicago and never got a chance.

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 1:15 PM CST up reply actions

how about mark bradley?

did anybody think he would make such an immediate impact? and what about thigpen? did anybody think he would turn it around this quickly?

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 1:14 PM CST reply actions

Now, now...

Let’s not get too excited about a 7th-round practice squad guy. He sucked in his first start, after all.

Croyle’s short passing game is the way to play it.

by Bleedingredandgold on Nov 2, 2008 1:16 PM CST reply actions

ryan sims

with the dirty late hit on thigpen

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 1:16 PM CST reply actions

How was that not a fucking penalty

If it was Favre it would be a penalty. Bullshit.

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 1:17 PM CST reply actions

That's two weeks in a row

When Thigpen was obviously hit late and it wasn’t called

by Vince D on Nov 2, 2008 1:17 PM CST reply actions

I really wanted that TD though...

but good effort, I’ll take the 3 pts

by Vince D on Nov 2, 2008 1:20 PM CST reply actions

Wow

Nice fucking tackly McGraw

by ashleylat on Nov 2, 2008 1:20 PM CST reply actions

Goddammit

McGraw can’t pull that guy down????

by Pauli on Nov 2, 2008 1:20 PM CST reply actions

this was just waiting to happen

all game. our special teams coverage has been high schoolish. and how bout mcgraw? wtf is he doing in the NFL?

by The DBowe Show on Nov 2, 2008 1:20 PM CST reply actions

Thigpen = Montana

Bucks radio saying Thigpen lookin like Montana.

by nfamous209 on Nov 2, 2008 1:21 PM CST reply actions

lets not go overboard here....

theyre probably a little miffed that theyre getting stomped by one of the worst teams in the nfl
