Ask Canal Street Chronicles!

Hey Chiefs fans!! My name is Saintsational and I take care of all things black and gold over at the Saints SB Nation blog, Canal Street Chronicles.

I am here to answer all of your Saints related questions to help get you better prepared for this Sunday's matchup. Before we get started the one thing I would say is that this is a must win game for the Saints. Their season is pretty close to becoming insignificant but a loss this Sunday would just seal the deal.

I now open it up to you guys for any questions you have. I will check it regularly throughout the week and answer them as they come up. I will also let my readers know about this so they can come over themselves and help answer your questions.

Also, be sure to check out Chris' similar FanPost over at my site and help enlighten my readers yourself!

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

did Saints fans think a 2nd & 5th rounder was worth Shockey? What’s majority think now?

How well is Jonathan Vilma playing this year?

Do you see him signing a long term deal with the Saints in the offseason?

How close is Colston to being back to his regular form?

Did anyone see Lance Moore stepping up the way he has?

Is Willie Roaf a Chief or a Saint?

What key players will the Saints be looking at possibly losing this offseason?

Unfortunately, I think he sees himself as a Chief. But we all see him as a Saint! I’m going to let Saintsational Dave answer part 2, I don’t want to be a Negative Nellie. (Another housecleaning, especially on defense, would be fine with me. Our defensive coordinator has got to go before he drowns everyone with him.)

Tighter N'awlins musician...

Lil Wayne or Dr. John? I’ve got to go with the Night Tripper.

What has Ray Nagin been up to?

He can’t be doing much worse than our mayor. How’s the Chocolate City coming along?

Hey Dave

It’s Joe the Genius from last year, and just thought I’d let you know that my Chiefs are going to work your Saints on Sunday.

Do any fans regret drafting Meachem in 2007?

Or does everyone feel confident he has a long future in New Orleans?

Bobby Hebert...

No “r” which I find fascinating. You know it’s Herbert h-e-r-b-e-r-t, Hebert h-e-b-e-r-t. “Hebert” it’s a fun name to pronounce. Try and say it Hebert. Take a shot. All right.

After the loss you will suffer this weekend..

do you consider your season officially in the toilet, being 3 games out of the wildcard race?

by KCScuba on Nov 14, 2008 12:42 PM CST reply actions

Given that your playing a 1-7 team

will you guys consider it a setback if you were to win the game by only 3 points or less?

Which Saint do you like more

Drew Brees… or Saint Nicholas? Because I really prefer Santa over DB.

Reggie Bush

I remember that Reggie Bush indicated before the 2006 draft that he did not want to go to New Orleans should the Texans pass him over. Was his initial reluctance to be a Saint ever a morale issue in New Orleans, and what kind of a presence does he now bring to the locker room?
