Chiefs end the season 8-8

Looking at the schedule it seams feasable that if the Chiefs continue to play better each week they could go 8-8. Not very likely but it is possible. With 3 gamed against division opponents who are all having bad seasons and a few sub .500 teams I say we win at least 5 out of the next 8. If some guys get healthy and LJ comes and plays like LJ we have a serious shot to win some games down the stretch. What do you guys think the odds are that we win all 8? Wouldn't that be a turnaround HA. call me an optomist , but you heard it here first, Chiefs finish the season 8-8.

Hmm,

We could also go 0-8. How many games has Germ won in his last 20 ? With his style of coaching, we may never see a playoff win!

Seriously

We all knew you had rose colored glasses from your posts, but c’mon now no one can take anything you say seriously.

Your feelings betray you. Let go and start using some sense.

You could be an optimist and say that Taylor, Dawson and Lanier will be playing this week…doesn’t mean it’ll happen.

Just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys.

ha

do honestly believe it will happen?…NO

could it happen?…YES

Although i yould like a top 8 Draft pick so i won’t be mad if not.

I see..

…so you were just FOS saying that you “called it first.” It was a just in case hell freezes over and the economy turns around come January 21st.

Just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys.

If we go 3-5 I will be happy.

8-8 might get us in the playoffs.

i think even 6-8 might get us in the play offs too. if we win the remaining division games. i can honestly see us being 8-8

I'll Wait Until They Win A Second Game

Before I’ll assume they’ll win a third. Right now this is a team that’s won one game in the last year and hasn’t had a victory in over a month.

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

I

like the fact that you have faith in the team, but we’ve only won one game in the last what, 50. No need to squander a top pick to get smashed in a wild card game. We cannot pass protect against teams like Tenn-a -key so lets lose out =]

Honestly...

I think I would be a lot more pissed if we went 8-8 then 1-15. I mean, this season is through. We arent going to the playoffs. The only thing that we could do now is get better and not get annihilated by teams. I’d rather do this bad and get a stud pick in the draft next year, then go 8-8, not go to the playoffs, and be a mid-round pick (every team besides the Giants and Titans suck this season).

Realistically,

we actually could win the next 7 games, but it is highly unlikely. Just like the last three I’d expect solid competition and unknown outcomes until the last couple of minutes. I actually expect to win at least 3 – 4 of our last 7.

Having said that, I would agree that winning is great and losing sucks, but I want our draft pick to be somewhere between 3 and 8. I don’t know what sort of leeway and record we need for that, but if we go 8 -8, the record would not be indicative of our true quality and readiness. For pride and love of my team, I really want them to start a league record setting win streak starting this Sunday, but for the future of our team, a couple more close losses will be OK by me….not starting with this Sunday. :)

It all depends on when Thighpen has his next bad game

and we know it will likely happen

If it comes against a team which would probably beat us regardless of how Thiggy played, it won’t matter much

But if it comes against the Raiders, or the Bengals, we’ll lose a game that, as of now, I think we might be able to win.
