Waters Is Right
This isn’t college football…there’s no such thing as a good loss.

Wow Waters
Careful, you’ll sound like a hater for being a realist. A loss is a loss…now who said that?
Just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys.
I think he has to say
Or maybe he truly believes that losses are losses in the end
…and the moral victories can’t be added up like spare change to get you into the playoffs.
Just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys.
Playoffs???
Deary me, backing into the playoffs this year based on a bit of luck and the rest of the AFC being piss poor would be the absolutely worst thing ever for this team.
Blame my wife!
You misunderstood
My point it that moral victories don’t add up to anything substantial and cannot get you in the playoffs and are a cheap excuse….and I think Waters feels the same way. Only win’s can get you in the playoffs and that isn’t happenning.
Just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys.
Chiefs Versus NFC
That dominance ended a long time ago. We’ve got a winning record versus the AFC West (the worst division in football) for the last decade…against everyone else we’re well under .500. You’ll note that the Chiefs cut off that chart of their victories at 2001. Think that means we haven’t played any NFC games at Arrowhead for seven years, or do you think it means the Chiefs are cherry-picking their stats?

The Chiefs cherry picking stats?
No way!
All kidding aside, it’s quite humorous just how blatantly positive KCChiefs.com is after a game. I’m not bashing them. I find it to be pretty funny. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Never Mind, I Retract That
Looked it up and the Chiefs have done pretty well since 2001 against NFC opponents at Arrowhead. It’s a valid stat.

LOL...it's so true
I thought it was only me thinking that. I rarely go up there anymore. The information is like a bland soup that’s supposedly served at a fine restaurant.
Well… I do check out the cheerleaders every year and they usually are the first to post the schedule.

I like a lot of the articles
It’s just not the best place to find objective information.

By The Way, NSFW...
…is generally reserved for photographs that show genitalia, nipples, or occasionally the buttocks being exposed. That’s just a chick in a bikini (and not even a particularly revealing one)…which you’ll see in any number of advertisements in print, internet advertising (the non spam kind) or on television viewable during hours deemed safe for children. Nothing unsafe for work about it…at least no more unsafe than going to a Chiefs fan site in general during work hours.

Some workplaces have pretty strict policies and it can be worth it to play safe for the sake of someone’s job. I work from home so don’t care, but it’s fairer to give people the choice.

Only Way That Would Be NSFW
Is if you’re in a mixed-gender workplace and you decided to print it off and stick it on your office wall as a pinup despite the reservations of your co-workers. :)

That Seems To Be Issues With Their Site In General
When that one guy wrote a FanPost about AA a couple of days ago, I contacted Adam Best and he wrote back and said that they’d had quite a few technical issues that they were in the process of correcting them. Sometimes it can take a little while to iron out all the bugs…doubt it’s because of the picture. :)

AA
Thanks for the link, Prime.
As for AA, all the tech issues have been ironed out, Try refreshing or clearing your browser’s cookies if you are still having issues. It was also only IE that we were having issues with. Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, etc… users should have been fine. Hope that helps and sorry for the inconvenience, fellas.

I Had An Issue For About A Day After You Wrote Back, Actually
But it seems to have been resolved and no problems accessing your site’s content now.

I'm using Firefox

So it's just me then
Using Firefox 3.0 and it doesn’t load for me. Can’t find any Arrowheadaddict cookies either.

Re: Ty Law
The Jets released a 24 year old 2nd rounder CB named Justin Miller to make room for Law. Evidently he had blazing speed but was injured all of last season and only appeared in one game this season. Anyone ever heard of him or are familiar with his play? Is he a FA we should be looking at or have his injuries goten the best of him?

Miller...
wasn’t he a bad-A kick returner for them as well?? I seem to remember him being a valuable play in one of my fantasy leagues that used IDP’s for that very reason.
ok, just looked it up – here were his KR stats in 05-06
PR – 46 yds – 1,304 avg – 28.3 long – 103T TD – 2
PR – 60 yds – 1,577 avg – 26.3 long – 95T TD – 1
It looks like he played a mix at CB and likely a lot of special teams. He had 12 starts out of 35 games. No INT’s, 97 tckls and 8 passes def’d.
You’re right though, he’s been dinged for the last two seasons.

I Don't Think We Need Him
Considering his fragility and (I’ll say it now) the relatively promising debut of Kevin Robinson. Two weeks ago I would have said he’s worth considering…but I liked what Robinson showed last week and I think he’s got some potential (assuming he can improve a bit and stay healthy).

By "Last Week"
I mean last Sunday, even though that’s actually part of this week. I have a tendency to treat the week as though it starts on Monday.

You & I both
I’m glad to hear some Robinson recoginition because I thought he looked promising too. Surely not speed like Savage, but I think his experience at kick returning him gives him the edge and he appeared to have better field awareness than Savage. I wasn’t thinking about bringing in Miller for kick return duties but rather as a CB

If We Keep Losing Players
Might as well bring him in…he’s certainly not worse than most of the other options available on waivers.

And
I thought Robinson looked a little faster than Savage doing the kick returns…or at least a bit more fluid and comfortable with it. Time will tell, of course, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Robinson handle return duties on his own for the next few weeks (assuming he stays healthy). Savage looks like he’ll be getting reps with the running backs from here on out, so I’m curious what he can do on that front.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
I dont know about faster
but comfortable is right and that comes with the experience I think. Robinson seems like a natural kick returner who’s trying to squeeze out every extra yard he could whereas to me Savage just looked like a fill in. I hope Robinson keeps the job for the rest of the year and that they keep Savage in the backfield
