Around SBN: Africa Cup Of Nations Semifinal: Black Stars Ripe For Upset?

Although final decisions were still in the works, it appears that a pair of defense ends - Turk McBride and rookie Brian Johnston - are likely headed for the injured reserve list. McBride was not active for Sunday’s game with what’s been termed a shoulder injury. Johnston suffered a torn calf muscle in the game.

And Tamba Hali is unlikely to play this coming week against New Orleans because of an ankle injury suffered in San Diego.

To add insult to injury

The following players may not play this Sunday:
Derrick Johnson
Pat Thomas
Donnie Edwards (came back and played but still a very big question mark)
Brandon Flowers
Turk McBride

Dude…5 new starters on defense in week 11?? What is the deal?!

Its not God

I think its Al Davis putting a hex on us.

The positive side of this

is that the more playing time Ron Edwards & Boone receive, the more pressure we seemingly get on the opponents QB. And since we’re having the franchises worst season ever, we might as well evaluate each & EVERY roster spot from #1-#53 and injuries provide no better way of doing it

Wallace Gilberry looked pretty good on the

LDE also. I definitely want to see more of him.

I want to see more of him too

because what I saw of him I wasn’t impressed. I didn’t expect anything out of him though but I think he stood out to me because he was contrasted to Johnston playing on the other end who was impressing me. I really think Brian has a future in KC and would like to see the same from Gillbery & Walden too

On a side note, the more I watch Dorsey the more I’m not worrying about him because he’s doing EXACTLY what they said they want him to be doing and thats controlling two lineman two free up flexibility for the ends. He’s going be a stud better than Neil Smith and I think our 3 years of work on the defensive line is really going to start paying off in the 4th one

phew

We can damn near field an entire roster with the amount of guys we have out or on IR.

Something strange is in the water in KC these days.

Fluoridation Is A Communist Plot To Pollute The Purity Of Our Precious Bodily Fluids

At least that’s what Stanley Kubrick said on the subject. :)

Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.
