Can you guess whos stats these are
compared to Devard Darling?
Hint: It occurred this year, with probably half the playing time of Darling.
No Yards AVG Long TD
Player X 5 74 14.8 27 2
Devard Darling 4 98 24.5 68 0
I know this is stirring the pot, but you do have to wonder with the way things are playing out this year. Take away the 1 for 68 yards and your left with 3 for 30 yards. By the way, we have thrown the ball 307 times.

My only guess
is someone we may have released. Mo Price was on the Pats PS and Kennison didn’t play I don’t think. Not really sure….Webb?

We have thrown the ball 307 times?
My question is – Of those 307, how many were on the mark, but dropped? The QB plays a big role as well in the amount of catches and yardage of the receiver, so what is the full passing breakdown?
Number of times thrown to each receiver?
Number of times caught by each receiver?
Number of times muffed by each receiver?
Number of times uncatchable (poor throw, or throw aways)?
Number of times disrupted, or uncatchable by reason of defense?

Darling is horrible
Counting exhibitions, he’s started 8 games for KC and caught 4 passes. The only time he ever made a big play, he got caught from behind by a guy coming across the field and it cost us the game.
He’s only got 4 more catches than I do, and two fewer TD catches than Jared Allen had last year. He’ll never catch as many TDs with KC as OT Joe Valerio did. And he’s been starting, it’s ridiculous. We really would be better off benching him and playing a Wing-T formation, that’s how bad he is.

The answer is Bobby Sippio

Those were preseason numbers against scrubs.
I do not like darling but what is with the Sippio thing.
Here is a quiz.. What do Billy McMullen, David Clowney and Jason Hill have in common.
They were all in the top 5 receiveing in the preaseason and have not caught a ball for their preseason team in the regular season. (McMullen has, but he led the league in receiving in the preseason and was cut by the redskins).
I do not think Sippio has a future (and neither do 32 teams). I think we should have made a play for a young receiver with upside like sinorice moss, michael clayton, or chad jackson.

Come on
Our starting QB has played part of one game. Our line is a sieve on the right side. Not saying Darling has been great but, a lot of factors go into a teams production. This rebuild is painful. I know some younger fans don’t remember the late seventies and eighties (thank God). Believe me this is better and whether Herm is around or not we are doing this the right way except for playing too many veterans. All this win now crap is just what it sounds like BS. I personally do not care if we win another game this year as long as we are playing young improving players. Some say there is no improvement I disagree. This is a young inconsistent team and it makes it hard to see improvement.
