How Many excuses for McIntosh

Again 3 weeks later Herm is still making excuses for the poor RT play of McIntosh. He said again, that he's still learning. How much longer are we going to give this guy to "learn"? If he doesn't have it, the heck with messing with the "continuity" of the line. Herb has demonstrated he can play, and he unlike Sackintosh is young. We are going with a youth movement if I am not mistaken, so why oh why haven't we done something about McIntosh. I know we are all belly-aching about this, but I just watched the 10/8 Q&A with Herm and had to vent some in writing.

Let's be patient
McIntosh is still young. This is only his ninth season in the league. He’s learning. Maybe in four or five years he will get it.

I beleive that there is more to it than we think though. I wish I knew what it was. Oh well, here’s hoping for 2012!
