Q: What are the main areas of emphasis that you are going to focus on over the bye?
EDWARDS: "Offensively, the three-and-outs are really not very good. Too many three-and-outs, not consistently driving the ball. The run game has sputtered some. No big passes in the passing game. We’re not very consistent there. Defensively, third down has hurt us. Big plays hurt us, whether it be runs on third down or passes. We’ve got to clean that up. We’ve taken the ball away, I think we’re second in the league in takeaways. I think the problem is, we’ve got 11 takeaways and 10 giveaways, so we’re plus right now. That’s not good, we’ve turned the ball over too many times. We’ve thrown eight interceptions already and we’ve fumbled a couple, so that gets you to 10. That’s too many after five games."

Nothing
As a unit the Chiefs are horrible across the board. The only positives are the good play of a few individuals like Pollard, Page and occasionally LJ or Bowe.
It’s just a bad team on the way to bottoming out.

Punt
So what exactly do we do well? We Can Punt ! “Let’s build on that” ! Our Punter is our MVP (so sad) LOL (if I don’t laugh, I’ll bawl like a baby after that fiasco in Carolina.) That’s all we’ve got… Damn Shame!!

I'm Just Waiting
For a rehash of the “I did a terrible job preparing you” speech from “Hard Knocks”. That’s the point at which I seriously started questioning the Edwards hire. What kind of a fucking moron admits that sort of thing in front of his locker room and the cameras and then puts up a bunch of the same performances for the next year and a half?

And Then
What kind of a fucking moron admits that sort of thing in front of his locker room and the cameras…
Sign off on it considering we had final approval.

I am jusy waiting for a reporter
Ballsy enough to ask the infamous question, “do you even play the game to win?” That is when the wheels will come off, and Herm goes!

"Do you even play the game to win?"

I'd Settle
For a reporter asking Herm whether he actually watches film of his opponents or does he just expect his team to go in there cold?

Let me be a reporter for a day.
That conference room would be mayhem! Herm why won’t you adjust? Herm why are you letting your RT get QB’s killed? Herm do you feel like you are a capable head coach? Why do all of us feel you are a dumbass?

I thought that was a good thing
I think the problem is, we’ve got 11 takeaways and 10 giveaways, so we’re plus right now. That’s not good, we’ve turned the ball over too many times.
I was under the impression that you WANTED to be on the plus side of the turn over margin. Silly me no wonder I have so much trouble with Herm’s game plan, I actually think you sould get more turnovers than you give up.

This Is Why I Asked A Couple Of Days Ago
Does Herm even realize what he’s saying when he’s saying it? Or is it just diarrhea of the mouth with him?

Come on guys...
Do you really think Herm thinks it’s bad we have a positive turnover ratio, or do you think he was saying 10 turnovers in 5 games is too many to give away?

I just couldn't resist
I know he didn’t mean it the way it sounded but that was the one part that really jumped out at me when I read his comments.
But how bad is this team that we are actually on the plus side of turnovers and we have a losing record?

I think we all know what he was saying
but the problem is, the way he says things and the fact he seems so lost as he is saying them. Bring back the teleprompter.
