Time to bust out Dantrell Savage in Chiefs backfield?
Not sure what the status is of Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles. We do know that he left Sunday's game with a high-ankle sprain and we also know that high-ankle sprains are usually nasty.
With no LJ and possibly no Charles, we may see rookie Dantrell Savage right behind Kolby Smith.

I'm All For It
He’s been a hard worker…might as well see what he can do in the backfield since Jamaal Charles is likely to be out for awhile.

I think he's really
too small to do much as a running back.

So Was Steve Slaton
And he’s having a pretty solid season in Houston.

I remember another UFDA that was only one inch taller
and his name was Priest Holmes.

My +1 was to UC
He has some bulk to him, he is much bigger than Warick Dunn is.

Yup
He’s short, but he’s got enough bulk to take a pounding. And he seems to have wheels, so I think he could be fast enough to do damage. Only way to find out is to play him.

I'm still trying to find info on us signing Vonnie Holiday!

High Ankle Sprain
Usually that means about three weeks to a month out of action.

He needs some better blocking on returns.
Use him to run the draw and on screens and swing passes. Let’s see what he can do in space.

That makes me nervous.
The Chiefs are plagued with injuries. I’d hate to see him get hurt trying to run some kind of 3rd down and 18 conversion up the middle for Herm and then lose him for a couple weeks or a month as well.

Yup
Let D Nasty get a few touches. I think kolby is a good back who just needs more exp.

What about Jackie Battle?
Let him get some carries, maybe he can find some rythm, but hell yes if Daren Sproles is big enough to get things going, Savage could very well do the same. If our o-line could block.

If Charles is actually hurt
Battle will be activated…we will always go into a game with at least 3 RB’s active.

Charles Will Likely Be Inactive
Every time I’ve seen a player get a high ankle sprain that guy’s usually out for at least two weeks.
