Andre Woodson cut
I saw that the Giants cut Andre Woodson again today. Any chance the Chiefs would pick him up? From what I remember (and I could be completely wrong on this) he wasn't too bad of a QB last year. I thought that he was generally regarded as a top 5 QB going into the draft. And at 6'5" 230 lbs he definitely has great size for his position. It kind of makes you wonder why the Giants would have let him go. I never really watched any Kentucky games last year so I'm not 100% sure of his abilities. He can't be worse than any of the options we currently have. He has much more value in my mind than the backup punter we just signed. Anybody have any info on him, or thoughts about him being a Chief?

Got to be better than Pigpen
Better and younger than all of our QBs, freely available, cheap, no downside at a position of desperate need.
So in other words, Peterson’s not interested.
He’ll end up being a decent starting NFL QB somewhere else in a few years.

He had a bad Senior Bowl
And I heard he didn’t look so hot in the preaseason. Might work okay in our system though.
But Marti knows the offense
And can come in this week if Thigpen goes down.

I would love to have him
but my guess is he’d come in and be held back from succeeding by Curl Dick. Any chance we grab him and wait until that guy is fired? I don’t know the answer there but a guy with his pedigree would be perfect but I’d hate to see him ruined before given the chance to succeed.
Does anybody see the trend
The we’re going to end up with a roster of 53 QB’s by the end of the season?
he only fits part of the Herm Edwards prototype
in that he has a weak arm.
He’s too robust, never play a down here
