Arrowhead Addict Breaks Down The K.C. QB Situation (via arrowheadaddict)
Adam at AA has started doing video blogs and I have to give him major props for stepping out in this medium. I can barely give a podcast interview without stumbling over my words. Nice work Adam.
Oh, and I happen to agree with pretty much everything Adam says in this v-log.

Wow
Why is Carl Peterson still in charge, I think Adam is more qualified, and certainly seems to understand what the Chiefs should be doing.
I am not quite as optimistic though, Herm Edwards cannot coach his way out of a paper bag. He will screw this up. Will Herm Edwards be able to devise a scheme that utilizes Gray’s talents effectively? The odds are not on his, or our side.

for serious
The question of the day on Gray – “why the hell didn’t we do this earlier, when we brought in Ingle Martin?”
That’s a great question. Had we brought in Gray when we brought in Dingleberry, he may have had the offense down enough to start this week. Instead we’re going to be stuck with Thigtastic for at least another loss.
Good vid though.

nah....
…we will see Gray this week at the Jets….i believe….not starting…but he will come in….possibly by the 2nd quarter when the Jets are up 17-0

bad timing
Bad timing for KC to sit Johnson. With there qb out they sure could use a stud RB. Like KC to lose to NYJ 30-7. get all my sports picks

I Don't Agree About The Huard Stuff
I agree that it’s likely not just about the hand, but the guy’s looked hurt ever since the Carolina game so I think it’s legitimate. The NFL’s really touchy about the injury stuff so I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that he ends up getting a surgery on some other part of the body this year. Rich Gannon and Kevin Harlan were noting during the Carolina game that he was moving like a guy who was injured and I think that’s about right.
But I also wouldn’t doubt that he doesn’t want to be out there anymore. Who would?

Agreed
Really? Didn’t look like a serious injury? He hasn’t even been a GOOD thrower, but his mechanics have looked more off recently. And he was wearing a gigantic sock on his hand afterwards, so… I dunno. Behind closed doors, we can speculate all kinds of stuff—Ya’ll keep talking, and I’ll just be over here, watching the game (and eating chips).

Hand Injuries
Usually aren’t season-ending unless there’s severe damage. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out it was an accumulation of injuries that Huard’s been playing through.

Hand
I heard somewhere it was ligament damage to the hand, but…still…
I love the Addict, however…Good to see Adam on Pride…He is like a David Carr figure…with just a touch of Kerry Collins hahahaha….

On 810 yesterday
Todd Leabo said that Huard had is hand wrapped and his knee wrapped as well, so I agree with UC, I think it is a combo of injuries.

It Came Out
Huard tore ligaments in his thumb. That’s usually a season ender. And I wouldn’t be surprised if his knee and shoulder were also hurt. He took a hell of a beating back there.

Thanks for putting this up, Chris! I’m still doing some stumbling of my own, but it’s gradually getting better. I think you just get used to it…

Huard
I still think putting him on IR was a bit over the top considering his injury.
Oh, good to see that I’m now getting compared to a QB besides Kerry “Tom” Collins (never heard that before and now it’s like every other sentence…lol), even if he is a monumental bust!

I think there's more to the knee injury
I heard yesterday it was a hand and knee injury. I didn’t know anything about the knee injury. Who knows…the Chiefs are so fickle about releasing information to the media.

Agreed
It’s pretty rare for a QB to end up on IR at this point of the season with just a hand injury, even if there were torn ligaments. I’ll bet we’ll find out that there was something else involved.
