During the Chiefs' recent bye week, Johnson was involved in a physical altercation with a woman at a Kansas City nightclub, sources told ESPN -- the second such late-night incident he's found himself in this year. The incident is consistent with a pattern of off-field behavior that league sources expect will lead to a suspension for Johnson under the league's personal conduct policy.

Did this happen Friday or Saturday?
I saw LJ out Friday night, he was dressed like the kind of pussy bitch who would hit a woman. In hind sight, he would have been better off accepting my offer to blaze some nuggets.

and you offered him weed. Way to go, dumbass.

Maybe a little grass would have mellowed him out.
Heaven forbid someone smoke a little herb and chill the fuck out. Much better to have a few drinks and beat on some women.

and he pops a piss test an gets suspended
or he does the right thing by turning it down, and you announce to the world what a dipshit you are by telling everyone what you did.
Scenarios:
1) You get the 4 Chiefs to burn with you…and they get suspended. That hurts our team.
2) They refuse your stupid ass, and you tell the world what you did and elucidate your idiocy.
Lose/Lose situation, hence your idiocy.

uhh...
fuck you guy
going down for a drug offense, in my opinion, is more respectable than getting suspended for roughing up a woman…. let alone multiple incidents. a little weed never hurt anyone.
hitting a woman, or women is an utter display of cowardice…. smoking marijuana would only display LJ’s lack of self discipline, not his lack of character or respect for women.
in his position i wouldn’t smoke because of the consequences, but if i was in HIV’s position i’d offer to smoke up LJ… he (and you the same) need to calm down and live life casually…..

actually...
i take it back, i wouldn’t smoke with a woman beater…. and i don’t think i’m on LJ’s side anymore… it’s getting ridiculous….

I don't even have to respond to this. You have made my point about the stupidity of this, and you don't even know. Thank You

dude...
your argument wasn’t even stated clearly in your first post, but if it was right in your mind… who am i to change it when you already have it set in stone?
you didn’t have to… but you did respond to it… without a real point to be made. saying something to the likes of, “you’re stupid because i’m right” doesn’t make a real argument.
am i wrong in my saying that a drug offense would be nothing compared to the way LJ has repeatedly treated women? if so, your reasoning? i’m not seriously saying that a professional football player should be smoking marijuana (considering the rules and consequences), but if you had to have one or the other… which one would cause him and his team to lose more face?

Don't believe all that Babylon sells you...
Jah bless us with fruit of our labor. Just because Babylon forbids us to enjoy that fruit doesn’t make it wrong.
I’m glad you value the health of the team over the health of our women.

Wow...
So I guess I’m an idiot, because I got this February incident (trial in December) confused with this weekend’s incident. He’s been a part of 4 of these lil’ situations, if you read the article:
1) In 2003, Johnson was accused by a former girlfriend of brandishing a gun during an argument. He was charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor domestic battery, but those charges were dropped the following year after Johnson agreed to enter a domestic violence diversion program."
2) “Three years ago 2005, a woman accused Johnson of pushing her to the floor after an argument. The woman later changed her story, decided not to press charges and missed three court hearings, leading to the dismissal of the charges.”
3) “Johnson already faces a December court date on a simple assault charge stemming from a Feb. 24 incident in Kansas City, news of which surfaced last week.”
4) “[This weekend:] A 26-year-old woman accused the 28-year-old Johnson of pushing her head with his open hand. If convicted Johnson could be sentenced to up to six months in jail and fined $500.”
Each incident involved one or more of three common denominators: a female accuser, alcohol, and a nightclub. In the case of the past three, it’s been all of the above.
Wow. Is this guy a bad apple?!

If he goes
To prison, do we still have to pay him any portion of the money?
by Eric Allen on Oct 19, 2008 6:15 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
No
We’ll take a cap hit on the guaranteed money, but we don’t have to pay him for the games he doesn’t play.
He’s not going to prison, though…it wasn’t that serious.
