The Chiefs are looking at punters this week.
Apparently, veteran Dustin Colquitt is dealing with an injury that could affect his game status this week against Tennessee.
The punters the Chiefs are planning to look at are Paul Ernster, Waylon Prather and Zac Atterberry. Ernster has punted for Denver and Atterberry was most recently on the Bears' practice squad.

I Saw Him Hobbling Off The Field In The Last Game
Kind of half-limping. The announcers missed it so I was wondering if I was just seeing things. Guess not.
Supporting the lesser of two evils is still supporting something evil.

Maybe not so officially doomed, as you think!
Without the reliability of Colquitt to fall back on, does this mean we might be more eager to umm, I’ve forgotten the phrase, “go for a first down” instead of punting?

Myth and legend
And the knights of the Chiefs did ride out from Arrowhead on a great quest, the search for the holy first down.
Legend says that the holy first down captured the blood of Len Dawson as he passed for more than 10 yards and that the downs were then resurrected for a further four plays allowing the team to advance down the field.
