Morning Update (Man of the Year Edition)
- Would you take advice from Bam Morris?
- In case you missed it, former Chiefs kicker Lawrence Tynes kicked the winning field goal in overtime to send the Giants to the Super Bowl.
- Joe Posnanski sums up Chan Gailey quite well.
- Brian Waters is a finalist for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. The award honors a player's volunteer and charity work.
- Jon at MVN has info on the search for offensive assistants.
I have to give it up for Lawrence Tynes. He missed two field goals before hitting a 47-yarder to win the game in overtime. Nobody had made a field goal beyond 40-yards at Lambeau Field in the playoffs. He nailed the game winner too.
I trust a fair number of you are at home today like I am. The regular schedule will still apply. I'll have more to come later.

I don't know...
I guess it was slightly more entertaining, but considering that the Pats basically only won because of the mismanagement some of his most VOLEKTRIK players, i.e. Volek and Sproles. Norv is really the goat of that game, but I certainly wouldn't call it a "snoozer" until about the last 5 minutes or so.
