Kansas City Chiefs Cut Casey Printers

And he declined to stay on the practice squad.

The Kansas City Chiefs have cut former CFL star Casey Printers, a Vancouver radio station reports.

According to CKNW, the Chiefs reportedly offered to keep Printers on the practice roster, but he declined, and will go on the 24-hour waiver wire on Saturday.

The station also reports that Printers wants to sign with an NFL team by next week, but if he doesn't, he will turn his attention to the CFL.

More cuts will be coming today. This is surprising news in my opinion. Printers played the best out of any of the Chiefs QBs in the preseason and I figured he would be kept over Jeff Terrell. Check the comment section for updates today.

the hot rumor out there

is that byron leftwich is coming to KC. i know you dont post rumors very often, but in case no one had heard...

if casey was cut for terrell, that makes no sense, but if he was cut in order to make room to trade/pick up byron leftwich then it makes sense.

is a fighter. Remember that Marshall game where he broke his leg and kept playing? Don't think I'd like him on the field though. He did nothing with Jacksonville and they had an unbelievable defense and solid running game--very similar to us with a younger defense. Doubt that happens, Carl/Herm has put too much time into Croyle.
