Quick Look at the Chiefs 2007 Schedule

Just glancing at the schedule, here is a spring look at where I think the Chiefs could end up. Note: This is VERY premature and VERY cautious.

  • @ Houston - W
  • @ Chicago - L
  • Minnesota - W
  • @ San Diego - L
  • Jacksonville - W
  • Cincy - L
  • @ Oakland - W
  • Green Bay - W
  • Denver - W
  • @ Indy - L
  • Oakland - W
  • San Diego - L
  • @ Denver - L
  • Tennessee - W
  • @ Detroit - W
  • @ New York Jets - W
10 and 6 is my shaky, pre pre season look. If we drop two to the Broncos, I'm guessing we're close to done for the playoffs. I know 10 and 6 sounds pretty damn good but when you look at the wins I have up there, almost all of them are pretty much in the realm of reason. And I know just how optimistic the end of the season run is...

I'll give ya...
One of the Denver games, though the game in KC is in early Novemeber, which gives me hope, but that Jets game could be huge, and the Jets are going to be pretty solid....

Overall a good, honest, assessment...

I thought it
was pretty fair to give San Diego both games over us.

Cincy
We will win Cincinnati - for sure.

Some days I think it will be a 6-10 season others I think 4-12.  I just don't think we will be that great this year.

Although I can't stand Keitzman, he once said that the Arrowhead home field advantage is so big that we win games that we shouldn't.  Sometimes I believe it.

The Jets game is going to be tough.  I think they are going to be tough this year.

But fuck Denver - we will win both of those games.  The evil elf's karma has caught up with him.

Cheers!

You play to win the game!

We can debate the exact record
the question is, will we make the playoffs? the playoffs at 10 and 6 are one thing. 9-7 or 8-8 is entirely another.

I also have to say
that right now, the Chiefs are probably going to be worse off talent wise than they were last year. Considering we scraped by last year, we're going to have to have a hell of a lot of quickly formed team chemistry to have a chance.
