Ahh! Good News!!

I just read on the Kansas City Star (sorry, i lost the link, just google news Brodie Croyle) that Herm is on the cusp of making the switch!! That is some of the best news i have read all week. In seemed like Herm is going to make the switch between the middle of the denver game to oaklandish if things remain status quo. I know some of us wont be too excited...primtime, D thomas to name a few, but I am sure I can speak for most of us by saying this is good news! CRROOYYYLLLEE!

I'm about ready
Maybe trying Croyle for a while won't hurt.  Denver would be a tough time to start.  We can get the running game going but those corners are good...

Wouldn't that be a good time to start him?
The Donkeys have consistently covered TG with a corner which means whoever our number 2 receiver is (Parker, Webb, maybe Kennison) will be covered either by a nickel-back or safety.  I would imagine Bailey will get TG as he has since becoming a Donkey and Bly will be on Bowe.

Thats true
Their run D sucks too.  Might be a good time to get him rolling.

Refer to the 5 questions for the Denver Broncos diary, a Denver guy answered some of our questions.  That might help.

Hey
if there is a time to put the guy in its now, we're 4-4 and have to face Indy in two weeks. Besides Huard needs to heal anyway, we can at least evaluate Croyle in a FULL_GAME situation.I just want whats best for our squad, and if Croyles it BRING EM OUT.

I think Colby Smith is gonna be good too!

If this is true...
Then it's time to set up the Brodie Croyle Drinking Game!
  • Every interception: do a shot
  • Every time an announcer says something like, "not sure exactly was he was thinking there...": do a shot
  • Every time they show Herm on the sidelines squinting/ muttering to himself: do a shot
  • Every time he gets incredibly lucky and pulls something off, prompting people on this blog to make irrationally exuberant statements like "Brodie ferrr pro bo!1!": do a shot
  • Feel free to add your own ideas
My prediction: we're all getting wasted. Hell, maybe this Croyle think won't be so bad after all.

Hey
I would way rather be drunk and losing then sober and losing. Wait, why wouldn't we just win? Who cares, maybe we might get loaded, AND win!? What an amazing weekend!! haha

What's startling is
Huard has actually hurt our chances to win, yet he gets support.

Croyle hasn't even seen the field (except for, you know, that one touchdown drive, which I figured you'd remember, since we don't get many of them), yet he gets bagged on and has his own drinking game.

Let's do the Damon Huard version!

Every pass over 30 yards: do a shot
Every tight completion into traffic that doesn't float: do a shot.
Every roll out to avoid a sack: do a shot.
Every win that we can actually say he contributes to: do a shot.
Every time WordOkoyeWilliams actually gives an accurate representation of his performance and/or actually pays attention to what Brodie does on an actual Honest To God NFL field: do a shot.

Wait, maybe this is a bad idea. This place will be more sober than Salt Lake City if we do that.

Make it Whiskey
As you like to say, it's just a blog, brohan. No need for the personal attacks.

Here's an accurate representation of what Brodie does on an "actual Honest to God NFL field":

1 touchdown against Jacksonville's prevent defense in a game in which he went 6 for 13 for 83 yards. HOW CAN WE LEAVE THAT ON THE BENCH???

I don't see where I've supported Huard in creating this game- can you point it out to me?

by KennyGregoryRockThaCradle on Nov 7, 2007 3:31 PM CST   0 recs

Okay
I wasn't personally attacking you. IF you took it that way, then I retract that particular article and apolgize.

You do realize 83 yards is half what Huard put up last weekend, right? In 1.5 drives?

Sorry, and I mean that genuinely, sorry, I forgot that you're not a Huard supporter, just anti-Croyle.

That I can respect.

But what are you basing this scenario where Croyle is the worst thing since the Sex Cannon Grossman? Is it really just his inability to get off the practice field and that one preseason game?

by Ridiculous Matt on Nov 7, 2007 4:27 PM CST   0 recs

One fourth quarter
is not a big enough sample size to determine the validity of Croyle as a starting QB in the NFL.

by primetime 07 on Nov 8, 2007 7:36 AM CST to parent up   0 recs

So let's increase the sample size
PLAY CROYLE for the love of god!!!  On a serious note, if our offense does not move the ball efficiently in the first half against DEN, I bet we see Croyle...Edwards is sly, but I think he gave a bit away earlier in the week with the whole "spark" talk.

Bottom Line
We need brodie if we are going to progress as a team. Either we find out he is a stud and is our quarterback of the future, or he is a tool, and we find out and draft a qb in this years draft that can make beautiful music with D-Bo and T-Gon for years to come. Its as smple as that. (by the way, I meant to say T-Gon, and I love it. It sounds so bad but so good at the same time!) Anyways, we are not going to win the superbowl this year, not with Damon atleast. That I can say is a Ben Fact. haha however, even though we probably wont win it with Brodie, a probably wont is better than a definite no. No one can argue with that.

Also, I am getting destroyed by an Astronomy assignment, so if any of you guys know anything about aphelion or perihelion of planets, i would love some help. Thanks!
