Rumor Mill: Larry Johnson Out for the Season
UPDATE #2 Fox 4 in Kansas City says the Chiefs staff denied the Fox Colorado story, saying they haven't heard from their medical staff that Larry Johnson has a broken foot.
UPDATE #1 "Anderson" is Josina Anderson, a reporter for the television station. Still no confirmation on LJ's injury status. Their site has updated their post with the Larry Johnson stock photo from KCChiefs.com though.
I'm not even going to pretend that this report is true until I can confirm. But here you go, from a Colorado television station website:
This was confirmed by a source within the Chiefs organization with direct knowledge of the situation.
According to the Chiefs initially, Johnson had suffered a mid-foot sprain in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 33-22 loss to the Packers.
However Anderson has learned that Johnson has a broken bone in the left foot.
I'll be here, waiting to confirm.

Agreed
They give up their childhood and college years to be in the NFL. And their health after football.

I just read the full article
"I don't know what his prognosis is, whether it's a sprain or a break," said the Chiefs source initially. "There is a chance Johnson may be done for the season; but it I'm not for sure yet!"
Seems unusual to put an exclamation point after that quote. Obviously, the emphasis was added on the reporter's end.
Another one..
While this injury is bad news for Johnson, it's a bright spot for the Debver Broncos who's last ranked rush defense likely won't have to face him.
Debver Broncos? Proofreading?
I'm sure all this is nothing, but it's just strange. But something is going on. As we all know, where there's smoke, there's fire...
