O-Line Change?
http://www.kansascity.com/sports/story/348355-p2.html
One sentence at the very bottom of an article is all I've got for you guys, but apparently Rudi Niswanger is going to take some playing time from John Welbourn in the upcoming game. Given that it takes time for an o-line to gel, what's the deal with the change in playing time mid-way through the season? Not saying that our line has "gelled" into anything close to greatness, but still, rotating a new lineman in for only parts of a game just seems to be asking for trouble. My question is:
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Any change
I don't think switching players around on the line will do anything.
They have had all season to gel and haven't so why would it be any different now?

exactly
I would LOVE to see us plug in a younger guy and have him work out, and there's only one way to find that out: get him some playing time. (this goes for Niswanger as well as Croyle)

Coaches
John is pretty well known in the league and was a player not all that long ago.
I think the idea now is trying to fill a blocking gap.
too many D's are pushing through the line. hindering decent protection.
I think we need to face the fact that this is a "teambuilding" year and they are going to do the best they can with what they have.
there is no cohesiveness as a unit currently, so switching guys in and out isn't going to cause that big of a disruption.
once they find players who can stand on their own this season and in the offseason, they can try to build a unit.
