Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

In Case You Missed It....

Here are highlights courtesy of Fox. Watch it while you can. I don't expect the NFL to let YouTube keep this one up for very long.

The Chiefs did give up big pass plays
But to the defense's credit, Favre was making great passes and that Donal Driver long catch was a ridiculous one-handed play.

Even though our offense as pathetic as it is
I knew we would have a game when the offense scored some points and put some long drives together but the defense would lose it for us (though you could say that Huard lost it for us...but you know what I mean).  Our defense is good, but not dominating, (yet) and we did not get enough pressure on old Fav-rey in the second half.

I agree...
We seemed to stop blitzing completely in the second half which made absolutely no sense.

In my humble opinion I think we wussed out because we knew they had to pass and were worried about farve lighting us up.  Well, he did, and probably would have had a tougher time if we had stayed after him instead of assuming the almighty Farve would out-smart our blitzing scheme.  It was a weak and cowardly move, Bellichek would mock it, I hope this was Herm's idea and not Gunther's.

Solari
We give him a lot of crap on here, and most of it is justified. But I really liked the call of going deep off of play action immediately after Sapp's interception.

Just glancing at the play by play
It looks like that first down was split fairly even between the run and the pass.
