It has been 30 years since the Chiefs lost six home games in a single season at Arrowhead Stadium, but with a 2-4 home record, it could happen this year if they can't beat the Chargers and Titans in December.

It has been the passing game all year long that has undone this team. At least Kolby Smith kept the running game going.
Fox Sports #24 Last week #22
Tough loss for the Chiefs on Sunday against the Raiders. K.C. fell to 4-7 with the 20-17 defeat, becoming the first AFC West team to lose to Oakland in 17 games. The fourth straight loss for Kansas City means any distant shot at the playoffs is now all but gone. Kolby Smith, a rookie out of Louisville, was a bright spot in the loss — running the ball 31 times for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
I'm not too sure what Pete Prisco of CBS means by "kept the running game going". We haven't been able to run the ball all year. And we have twice as many touchdowns through the air (10) than we do on the ground (5). Last year through Week 13, the Chiefs, well Larry Johnson, had thirteen rushing touchdowns. I'm going to have to disagree with Pete and say that the Chiefs running game has been the big letdown.
