Open Thread

Well, I was lucky enough to have this day off of work.  Chris is at the LSU/Arkansas game.  I'm getting ready for MU/KU tomorrow night.  We've got a long weekend of football coming up.  Indianapolis beat Atlanta last night.  We've got the Raiders game coming up this weekend.

Raider week doesn't seem to have the same energy it used to.  I'm sure it's just because they've been absolutely terrible their Super Bowl run in 2002.  The game I get most jacked up for every year is the Raiders game.  Usually only when they come here, because we never beat them in Denver it seems.

Use this thread to talk about our schedule the rest of the way.  We're going to have to steal these next three if we have a shot at winning this division.  And our RB situation certainly isn't helping our situation.  But, we snuck into the playoffs last year (Thank you Joe Nedney), so why not this year?

Is anyone else
waiting for the Packers to come back to earth?  I don't understand how they're so good. That was a game this year that I just assumed we would win when I looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year.

Darren McFadden
fumbled the first 2 kickoffs.  Sounds like Chris picked a good game to go to.

And then . . .
went apeshit with 200 plus yards & three touchdowns.

Fucking crazy.

We are going to the Oakland game on Sunday but all I can think about is OU/KU.

Cheers!

You play to win the game!

Raiders
I agree with you wholeheartedly.  The record book also states that in the entire history of professional football, the Chiefs have never, ever beaten the Raiders in Denver. ;-)

I know, it was probably a typo, but it gave me a chuckle.

Not to sound like a schmuck...
but I am glad that I am not the only person to notice that.  Also, that is one hell of a typo (not to mention that you missed a few words in that entry here and there).  I am going to go out on a limb and guess that you were tired while writing that post.  Hey, we're all human ;)

Whoops
Only took me 5 days to notice that.  Must have been early.

I also noticed that during gameday on ESPN today..
At least two people on the KU side had my signature line with an Abe Simpson sign.  Many smiles at that sight!  Go Jayhawks!!

Sorry Jayhawk fans.
Maybe next year.
Just console yourselves that, unlike the Chiefs, you no doubt will be going to a Bowl. :-)
