Morning Update (Serenity Now Edition)
- Here is a little Chiefs/Packers game preview from Real Football 365.
- I didn't see this one coming. Chiefs to keep training camp in River Falls, WI.
- Coach Herm on Kennison playing this week: "Ah, it’s yet to be determined. I’m going to wait on that."
- Either Mike McCarthy has a different method of reporting injuries than Herm Edwards does or the Packers are pretty dinged up judging by the number of players on their injury report.
- Acme Packing Company asked me five questions about the Chiefs. Check it out and let me know how I did.
- And the cycle begins again. Derrick Thomas is on the ballot of the soon to be whittled down list of Hall of Famers.
I'm happy the Chiefs are remaining in River Falls for training camp. I've heard rumblings that some aren't happy because they feel like because the team is partially paid for by tax-payer money, that the Chiefs should hold training camp in KC. I'm more old school and enjoy the fact that the Chiefs are one of only a handful of teams to travel for training camp. Back in the day, you traveled away to build camaraderie and leave the temptations of your town behind so you can focus on football. Plus, I'm planning on going to training camp next year and River Falls, even for a just a weekend or so, will be a lot more interesting to visit than the city I already know and love.
Starting today, I'm facing the triple attack of the girlfriend's two sisters and mom visiting us so if you guys can pick up the slack in the diary section, that would be great. I think this Seinfeld clip pretty much sums up what my weekend is going to be like.

i agree on training camp.
love it.
regarding the packers, we havent given up more than 20 points yet this season. that wont change to a one dimensional packers team at home, no matter how good brett favre is.
as far as that goes...
