"Scheme Busters"
Really interesting article on ESPN.com right now about elite players that force teams to alter their normal gameplans for. Here's the link:

Some really interesting stuff about who the truly great NFL players are.

Tony G. is listed under the "Potential Hall of Famers who can still get it done, but not at their former levels" category. Specifically, an anonymous current player says:
"They are not as creative as they were. Herm Edwards has sucked the life out of that offense."
Ouch.
What does everyone think? Is this a fair assesment of TG and the 2007 Chiefs?
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Yep.
Offense wins games, defense wins championships.

Unless the Defense
You need a balanced attack. You can have a conservative offense that's not flashy, but it's got to be able to provide some time for the defense to rest, especially with the rule changes in recent years.
Our defense has gotten so much better, and the offense has gotten so much worse.
It's a real shame for Tony, his talent deserved a championship.

Offensive Juggernauts
Yeah, you're right, the Bears are the exact opposite but with the same problem. I know how frustrated they must be (I think us Chiefs fans have felt like that a time or two...::cough::'95::cough::'97)
