Colts Expect Safety Bob Sanders Back

Colts safety Bob Sanders is expected to play Saturday when the team opens the playoffs against Kansas City. Sanders is MAJOR difference maker in the Colt's run defense. LJ will still find plenty of room to run. But, this is definitely a blow to those who think LJ can, alone, keep up with the Colt offense.

Yea - we'll see.

I know he is a big part of their defense but he hasn't played in five weeks - there will be some rust.

the coaching staff

was saving Sanders for this particular moment. If the playoffs started two weeks ago, Sanders would have played. He alone can not make a huge difference. The whole defense needs to step up if they want to have a chance to contain LJ.
